    so LG is no more? all my HG'2s are kinda old so what's a good 3000 mAh 20 amp battery?

    I believe the Samsung 30Q is considered a 15 Amp Battery.

    Mooch has them rated at 20A, but the manufacturers list them as 15.

    No. The CDR of the 30Q and the VTC6 is only 15A.
    They both have a temperature limited rating of 20A only according to Mooch, but they must not exceed 80°C, which both of them will surely do during a continuous discharge or a malfunction.
