Let me start by saying I love my buzz. I also am sold on ikenvape fusions. While I love only 3 juices so far out of the dozens I've tried they do clog my carto's fast. All tasty vapor. Waffle got 5ml out of the fusion with tank. Raspberry buttercream cupcake somewhere between 6-8 mls. Dead. Pineapple orange banana did get close to 19ml before it gurgled and died. I just put in a order at kick bass vapor but any other buzz fusion tank users want to give me input on what juice they use and how many mls they can get thru one carto?

Excellent organic eliquids and Annette the owner will do whatever you ask for.
She does not "relabel", she makes each and every one of the orders. Give her your favorite recipe and she'll do it for ya.
You can order samples to try as well, and they all arrive in glass bottles.
There is a very popular thread on ECF and she has with MANY happy customers.

Backwoods Brew

Don, the owner has quite a very faithful following. Many of his eliquids sell out pretty quick too.

Since I make my own menthol and vape 99.5% menthol, I don't buy from any vendors much anymore, so the above 2 listed are vendors I know that are pretty popular with many.

My Fusions love menthol, so I can go many days with one Fusion.:thumb:

Good luck. :vapor:

I mix my own too so afraid I can't be of much help to you Rad. My mixes are fairly light colored, 70/30 pg to vg, and I don't use any sweetener. I can usually get a month out of a Fusion...with or without a tank.

It's most often the sweeteners and dark colors that clog cartos. Some people say they have problems with high vg ratios too.

My fusions do great with menthols, too. I also love a few Backwoods Brew flavors (cappichino/espresso/dulche...but they poop out quicker in my fusions. I'm lucky to get two days out of a fusion with anything other than menthol. The e-liquids I use are 70/30 PG/VG respectively. I have heard such great things about the fusions in the tanks....but I need to find a nice person here to offer to slot mine for me. (I'd even throw in some fusions and juice if I get an offer to help me.

Rosco-are you making your menthol with crystals? I have a bunch of DIY unflavored nic and PG/VG base that I have never experimented with yet.

Radiated-they don't poop out in a couple days...they just stop absorbing juice after I run around 6 or 7 mils through them which equals two days for me. I don't like having to fill them so frequently. however, I love the taste of juice in them and I think they will be awesome in a tank. People here who are slotting them for tanks just love them!!

+ 10 for what Bov said.

The higher the VG definitely has a role in it - the viscosity slowing down the wicking and gumming up the carto faster. But not all VGs are the same as some are much thinner than others - YMMV with this one. Many carto users stick with 80PG or higher for that reason, but with tanks I've seen people say they've had good success with 50/50 and a few even at 100%VG - with some slotting adjustments made to compensate.

Another culprit I've seen mentioned can be juices that have been extracted from natural products -some tobacco and coffees come to mind. There is the possibility of a higher amount of particulate matter left in them even after the filtration process used post- extraction -- more "stuffs" left in the juice to gum/clog up a carto, quicker.

But to answer your question, I am like some of the others here - a DIY, mostly clear menthol in a tank that I can easily push 10-12ml through before the carto gets meh. It still works, the flavor just goes south.

Kick bass is good for great taste but for some reason the throat hit from all there juices no longer satisfy me but the owner is great and they mix to order, he actually closes down the shop because he does not trust anyone but him or his wife to mix the juice. I think I will have to agree with Rosco that Virgin vapor and Backwoods would be 2 great places to start. Backwoods has really clean tasting liquid and most flavors are spot on, I have only tried a couple from VV but they really are great imo. I have an order placed with them as well so I will have ten more flavors to try in a fewe days and I will report back.

Well I would stay away from banana, apple, and cinnamon flavors if you want your tank to last very long. No matter what cartos you use in them the tank will crack if your using those flavors in your juice. I usually get around a month on my Fusions whether in a tank or solo. I have had 2 crash after a week but on the norm about 4 weeks. I don't vape all those sweet flavors though and my juice is 100% PG. I have been using some 20% VG for a couple days and have been getting by with out too many headaches. Also you could do like switcher does and thin that VG a little so it's not so thick. Bovinia uses it in Fusions without and problems though.

5card. Wow thanks for the heads up. I knew about apple and cinnamon bit not about banana. Maybe I've been lucky or my juice has very little banana cause I've been using it now for about 3 weeks with no problems but I will watch that. Can't wait for the m1a1 to come out. Looking forward to the screw hole. I hate filling mine cause of the mess. Other than that I am really pleased!

I've been using KBV juices with fusions for some time now w/ and without a tank. I found that my fusions lasted longer untanked, but the taste of a fusion in a tank is worth the shorted use time to me. I get about 3 or 4 days from a fusion tank (about 4 tank fills). It doesn't die, the drag gets too hard like it's clogged.
I do vape sweet and dark KBV juice (maple frosted rolls, bobomg, monkeybreak) so I'm pretty sure this is what shortens my carto life. Right now I have a boge carto in my new tank w/ a light juice (AVE Hype). I'm on my second tank full, and it's still going strong, wonder how long it will last.
To me, a carto that costs a buck or 2 and lasts me a few days is still cheaper than analogs, so I don't care, I'm enjoying every drag I take.

A month on a fusion is amazing... Are your juices light or dark? I get about a week give or take a day in either direction.

I agree, the fusions are cheep enough and with the time I get much cheaper then analogs. I haven't gotten that hard drag clogged drag thing yet, they just eventually start tasting off and burnt so I toss them. The hubby however does get the clogged thing. The juice he vapes from KBV is darker then mine. He vapes OMG and I vape WTF. The WTF is dark, but not as dark. And of course they both get darker after time. I recently ordered a new bottle of WTF and couldn't believe how dark the older 1/2 used bottle was. I decided to fill from the brand new bottle and I couldn't believe the difference the much lighter juice made. Because KBV closes so often I order much more then I need and always use the older liquid first so I do not notice the gradual change from darker (older) juice to lighter (newer) juice until I went from one extreme to another!

It is not at all unusual for my cartos to last a month but I DIY. When I was buying the store made stuff I found that the darker caramely colored juice and the juice with too much sweetener is carto killers for sure. I don't do tobacco but have heard that the juice with the naturally extracted tobacco kills cartos pretty quick too. Since I have been DIYing I have found that the VG in my 50/50 mix has very little to do with clogging cartos. The more flavor that I use (especially the sweeter ones) the faster the carto dies :) Good luck.
