Hey Eric! I bought these from fasttech.. 4 batts in clear cases for $19.06 shipped! Use the coupon code that gotsmoke posted above for 5% off. I've been using these in my EA and my other mechs and have been pleased. They do not work in the Provari though, they're flat top, not button top. I use the aw imr's in the Provaris.

I have both the cgr18650ch and the ncr18650pd batteries, 2 of each that I rotate. I get 2 days out of the cgr's and 3 days out of the ncr's on average. Those two batteries are the best high drain batteries on the market at the moment.

Thats top notch madstabber. Thanks bro!

No problem, that's what we are here for. Helping our fellow vapers navigate the complex and sometimes confusing world of vaporizing nicotine for enjoyment.

Ha, definitely. I've been using the aw imr's since I started vaping. It's good to change things up.

I love the Panny CGR18650CH. That's a tough battery to beat at any price. IMR hybrid = "safer chemistry", also "high drain", which is essential in a mech at low ohms. Read some more on the NCR before you spend the extra cash. Search the forums, it's out there.

Do NOT put protected batteries in a mech. Most won't like the demands, especially at SLR below 1.2 ohms. Same with a kick. Kick is limited to 10 watts, if I remember correctly. A 1 ohm coil with a battery putting 4 volts to the coil is 16 watts (W=(V x V)/R).

I have literally piles of CGR18650CH's for my mechs. They work great. For my provari, I have on AW IMR, one CGR18650CH button top and one NCR18650PD button top, I mostly use the NCR18650PD button top.

Honestly I would get some NCR18650PD flat tops for my mechs but I just have so many CGR's that I paid 5-6 bucks for.

Again, the PD is key when buying a panny NCR, like the CH is key when buying a CGR.

I wish Panny would make a hi drain/hybrid 18490 though, that is my preferred battery size.

what do you mean by the PD and CH?

Model number, there are a bunch of CGR's and a bunch of NCR's. They are not created equally and those are the two that are designed for a high current situation.

So NCR18650PD and CGR18650CH, the suffix is important.

Good times. I'm probably going to get a set of both and see which ones I like best. With fasttech's prices it won't break the bank.
