Need recommendation for low maintenance, clean, durable PV / rant

Right, when I started off vaping Tuesday I was on cloud 9.
Today, saturday, after spending 100 quids or so on kit, I'm about to give up.

First I burnt 6 cartomizers (didn't keep them wet enough i think). So I bought 10 more. Already burnt 4. Do you have to keep refilling these things every 20 puffs or so? How am I supposed to go clubbing, with my little bottles? Lol. Then there's the liquid that goes everywhere, the condom method which take overnight on my boge 510s or else = burn, and stinks up my office place (already had complaints). Matter of fact I have 3 cartos in front of me with liquid overflowing from the top, unable to absorb.

Now, I then bought a 510t LR and SR, thinking cartdriges would be low maintenance. Both burnt after 2 hours. I have no idea why. I primed them, cartridges were full.

I'm down to my bridgeless Atty which I recovered from death after boiling it an hour ago. Drip drip, pull. Drip drip, pull. Not ideal.

I look around, and all i can see is paper towels, a mess, it stinks, I'm ...... off!!!! Grrr!!

Soooooo... I know the people on this forum are AWESOME and might be able to recommend a solution.

Price is irrelevant. Looks and size are irrelevant. I need something that I can fill straight from the bottle, puffs like a mad crazy dragon with a warm vape, doesn't overheat just because I took 3 puffs in a 10 second period, does't fail because it was made in a dodgy Chinese factory, and holds enough liquid to last me at least 5 or 6 analog equivalent.

My lungs will be eternally grateful for any advice :)

I haven't tried the CE4 the previous poster mentioned, but I use the T3 and the nova when I want to just. vape. for a long time and not worry about refilling. Both hold 3-ish ml.

There are many on here that swear by carto tanks for flavor and vapor, tho. Plus they hold a good bit of juice. (I haven't tried those myself, so I can't comment personally.)

Good luck! :)

sounds like you may want to give rebuildables a try, with something like a spheriod at the top of the list . unscrew, drip it full, screw together, vape, exhale massive amounts of vapor, fall down from head spinning nic overdose..... good to go.

and i can absolutely guarantee the way this thing hits you will not chain vape anymore.

There's a fuss factor and learning curve with anything. I prefer cartomizers, but I had the worst luck with Boge cartos. The wadding in them is so dense it neither absorbs nor seems to adequately wick the juice fast enough. Especially if you have a high VG juice. You could try Smoktech cartos. I personally prefer the 1.7 ohm XL's. They hold quite a lot. Then, you can also go with a carto/tank for more learning fun. ;)

Can't suggest solutions for your burned cartomizer problem without knowing the carto resistance, vaping voltage and carto size. Smaller cartos must be topped off more often. Hotter cartos must be topped off more often. Heavy users must top off more often.

At 3.7 V you will need to top off a shorty carto almost constantly to avoid burning. I vape a little more than 2 ml per day. I use either 1.7 or 2.0 ohm LR XL cartos without a tank at 3.7 V regulated. I need to top off the 1.7 ohm every 90 minutes or so while the 2.0 ohm is topped off half as often. Both cartos will last me up to two weeks and don't burn.

I too would recommend either a Kanger T3 or Vivi Nova. Stick them on an eGo Twist or Spinner and you you should be much happier. For a more pocket friendly option the T3 (low resistance) or mini Vivi Nova (with the 1.8ohm head) and a standard 650mah eGo.

edit: I too found the Boge cartos to be a tight draw and the filler too dense for vaping outside of a tank.

If my REO Grand and Mini weren't simple and durable, I wouldn't still be using them after over 2 years. I have beaten them like red-headed stepchildren, and they've never failed me. The shorty Smoktech 1.7 carto is a great option for these devices, but I have now switched to rebuildable atty's on my Grand (Chalice and ERA), and have a smaller RBA ordered for my Mini. Check out the REO sub-forum to learn more if you are interested:
