The finish on my version one Z-Max is starting to wear out so I am interested in a second MOD. I'm happy with how it functions. Should I buy one in Stainless or is there anything new and improved to consider. Thanks for the help.
Well looking at my tiny collection, I own a Z-Max v.2, Vamo, ego-c Passthrough and Ego-c Twist... For my couple of copper, I would say since you like the setup of the Z-Max you can't really go wrong with the Z V.2 in SS. I really like mine and I like my Vamo also alot, although it is a bit heavier and bulkier, SS on the Vamo also. I have found the Vamo a bit finicky on a couple batts that the Z works fine with. If it is money... go to health cabin for one of their Vamo's, called a Bamboo they are pretty cheap, far cheaper than the Z V.2. I really don't have a fav between the two yet. Then again... the ego-twist is just a fun little batt that is a grab and go anywhere but none of the fancy features on it... Anywhoo, gl on whatever you choose.

I've been eyeballing the Vamo version 2. It comes in stainless and has good reviews.

A PBusardo Review - The Vamo - YouTube

I've been thinking of getting one as a back up to my Provari but like PBusardo I dislike smooth "slidey" devices. I haven't seen any site selling a stainless version. Only chrome and gun metal.

Nothing wrong with a little "patina":2cool: but surely you know of someone that is good with an airbrush and can give it a fancy paint job.

As for getting a new PV, I like to go for a change of pace and get something completly different when I do that. You already have a VV/VW, so why not get something like a Reo (bottom feeder) to play with. There are lots of different ways to vape, and why not enjoy more than just one of them.

vapeescape UK got those... I'm sure many other retailers already offer SS vamo's...

I went with the Vamo, waiting for it to arrive any day now. All the reviews are decent, the price is very decent, and the features are fabulous. Just my opinion, I think I am going to grab a lavatube as well just to check it out in comparison. I like what tj99959 had to say about a change of pace though too. I always like to try all ends of the spectrum.........I may actually consider that before the Lavatube????? Decisions, Decisions........anyways..... No matter how I cut it, I am still saving money over analogues, as well as the health benefits!! Vape On!!!

I had to have a box mod for the variety myself. I tried one and loved it but now I'm waiting for a Flair in a preorder. And I got an Brass telescoping mod that is special. All mechanical. This month I'm adding the kick which will help it perform like my Vamo in watts function. I thought for a few dollars more I could get something more unique looking than a reo but I kept going back to it too. So many happy reo owners. The wood ones are always sold, out or I would have probably gotten one

If you are happy with it, get one in stainless.

I got my provari in stainless. It makes no sense to me to put a coating on a metal that is softer than the metal.
