HOw big is The vamo?
In short 18350 mode it's a nice size. In 18650 mode it's big. Like could double as a weapon big. Fine around the house or driving but, not pocket friendly. I keep it in 18350 when out and I have to pocket it. Carrying spare 18350s is not a big deal. They're tiny.

I really like mines..

Good point. Now i'm wondering if any mods are available that are rubberized like the ego batteries are, and if not why not ?

You can always buy a wrap. It's no deal breaker. I'm considering asking a customer of mine that does welding and metal work if they can knurl the finish..

I am toying with the idea of grip tape - the kind that you put on steps and skateboards etc....maybe cut it in 1/4" wide x 2 or 3" long strips and applying it to my VAMO vertically. I thought about doing it as a whole wrap but I like the Gunmetal gray finish so I think a total wrap is out of the running.

I really enjoyed my vamo, didn't have a problem with grip. About three weeks into using it the button started sticking and it got to the point that I had to whack the button to get it unstuck. Then on the second day of whacking I broke the button so it doesn't pop back, it still fires but I have to hold it horizontal button side down and flick it to ensure it stops firing. Even though in the three weeks I was using it the chrome was scratched to high hell, I still loved it's look and feel. Now I'm just wondering if it's worth getting another.
