So I have my first rebuildable and so far I love it, I got a kayfun 3.1 and right now I have a 1.5ohm coil made with 28awg wire, and a cotton wick.

So I need to get some kanthal on order soon so I'm ready for the next build. but before I go ordering stuff I wanted some input. I noticed the kayfun gives a much warmer vape than I was used to on my AeroTank. What would be the best (in your opinion) coil to build that would give me the most vapor possible without making it too warm. If thats not possible, then what coil could I go for that would just give the most vapor while still giving great flavor? Also I cant go below 1.2ohm on my Vamo V5, but im also trying to balance battery life too. So long as my 2600mah battery will last the day im good.

I know there is no "best" coil as everyones preferences are different. But seeing as I have very little experience with building coils, I would like to know what you guys are all doing and how its working for you.

I just got my 3.1 ES (ivogo from angelcigs) and I love it. Have you tried twisted 28 Guage before? or if you have 32 Guage laying around you can do triple twisted.... I really like these coils in my Kayfun/Russians I actually belive it does bring the taste out even more and makes it pop. RIP trippers has videos for both builds if you didn't already know

I think I found it, I used a 1/16 drill bit and 9 wraps of 28awg, that gave me a beautiful 1.2ohm coil, and its pumping out atleast double what the 1.5ohm was. I am very proud of my first coil, lol. Unfortunately its not in my tank. My buddy orderd a KF3.1 and he has no idea how to build coils, so I helped him out. Now I need to make one of these coils for mine, lol.

Also, I found out I don't have a KF3.1, I have a Russian clone. side by side they are noticeably different. Mine has massive wicking channels, im not sure if thats good or bad, but it whistles like crazy, so I may order a new one. I have tired drilling out the airhole, sticking wire and brass shims in the airhole, nothing stops the whistle, and it is BAD. my friends KF whistles but its completely tolerable, mine is unbearable.

Hey jd. I also love twisted 28g and tri 32. they do imo produce a better vape but only if the mod has the power to push that much wire. With a basic vv device the power is a little limited to push that much wire imo. With a resistance limit of about 1.3 ohms, twisted 28g would have a ton of wraps and with most of these mods only pushing maybe 15 watts, the lag time would be kind of high. With the twisted 28g or tri 32, I would recommend using a mech, or a dna for better performance.
