Welcome to the forums Sleet. Are you looking for a personal recommendation of a B&M in New York City, or just a list of suppliers? If you scroll down, there are the Vendor positive/negative reviews, and further down are the Forum Suppliers listings.
I order juice from all over the country... always looking for the illusive "All Day Vape". If you pop onto VaporStations thread - they are giving away free juice samples - it's very good stuff.

welcome to the forums! there are hundreds of suppliers online. i first started with v2 cigs also back in 2010, my next step was the ego twist, i now vape mods but i doubt you want to get into them at this stage. i suggest you guys get some standard ego's or the ego twists if you want to venture into variable voltage both are fairly cheap in the 15-25 dollars range, they are also easy to use and theres plenty of kits that different suppliers offer. the best bet for your juice delivery system would be cartomizers just like the ones you would use with the v2s or clearomizers/CE4's and theres many different types to choose from, i dont use them anymore so im not too updated on them but maybe someone else can suggest a good clearomizer for you. i dont recommend staying on the pre-filled cartomizer road like the ones you have been using, trust me there are soo many different types of juices out there and you can sample and find the ones you like best. your v2 cigs used 808 threads, the ego's use 510 threads so anything that is labeled 510 will work with them. so all you would need is an ego battery, charger, cartomizers/clearomizers and juice. i suggest you get multiple ego batteries because you want backups just incase, trust me on this. You might spend $100 on your first big order but its a great investment and vaping becomes a great hobby for most people. im sure other people will add anything i missed or suggest other routes. it might sound confusing at first but it really isnt, just take it slow, if you are really confused on a piece of paper right down categories, one for your battery/charger, one for your juice delivery system and another for your juice, under those categories just list your options and any specific detail to each category and you can figure everything out easily and come up with questions for each.

I agree about altsmoke and will also add Cignot, MyVaporStore, Vapor Kings, and Vapor's Choice, Discount Vapor, and RTD Vapor for batteries and chargers.
Well, those are just the ones I deal with and never had even one problem in a year.

You're sure to find somethiing among them. I suggest forming a solid relationship with one or two or three vendors and stick with them. I never go around looking to save $2......the vendors I deal with know I order from them, and have a history and they treat me good ..... I know people will do otherwise, but I honestly believe in loyalty leads to loyalty. :)

Thanks for the advice in searching the forums. This is a lot to learn. I have been vaping for 3 month, my husband 5 weeks. We have recently bought the Triton starter kit, actually 2 of them. We really like the battery life and the larger tank size. A lot of the lingo used to describe the different things is a little confusing but I am slowly getting it down. It is nice to have so many people who are here to help in the process.

Welcome to the ECF!

I'll chip in with the trusted and popular vendors: AltSmoke, Discount Vapors, My Vapor Store, RTD Vapor. There are others I use, but these are the ones I go to first.

I started out using Smokeless Image - they have everything a beginning to intermediate vapor needs, including pre-filled carts and a couple of lines of e-liquid. They use a less popular 808-thread with their batteries and juice devices, but they do offer a simple way to get your foot into the door to start vaping. They are a very reputable and popular company with great customer service, but have little for the more advanced vapors.

For e-liquids my favorites are: Dripeez, Vaperite, and Virgin Vapors. All three use all-natural, all-organic flavorings; not that I'm a health nut, but over 1 1/2 years vaping I've found the vendors that utilize these to have the better flavored e-liquids. YMMV. All three sell either sampler packs or smaller size bottles to try their flavors at minimal expense; return to buy a larger size if you find a winner.

Here's an ideal starter's setup with pictures and video on how to use them: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3706-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

Here's a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices available to us, with demo videos: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Congrats on the switch. I would agree, that depending on your comfort level you won't want to jump to mods just yet. But I've only been vaping for about a month, and already have 2 mods that I'm super happy with. It's really about how quick of a learner you are. YouTube is priceless when learning about vaping. I personally am glad I bought a mod after 2 weeks. I saved money on starter kits that I knew would become almost useless to me after the mod. Now I keep my old vision spinners in the glove boxes of my cars and in the garage when I need a quick vape and don't wanna haul out the big guns. But my best advice, is soak up all the vaping info you can. The more you know, the easier it is to make decisions that cost you less, and keep you satisfied. All in all, the equipment doesn't matter, what ever keeps you off the analog. Great work!
