Threads on eGo-C Twist shot?

I have two joyetech branded eGo-C Twists both a few months old, two Vivi Novas and some Boge carts. Everything will screw onto one eGo-C just fine, but just recently, nothing will screw onto the other one. Maybe got cross threaded and messed up the threads?


Is this more common than my Google-fu has revealed? Is there a quick fix? Or do I just need to get a new battery?


Hate to buy a new one because it works fine if you just hold a Vivi Nova there and press the button.

depending on how steady your hands are you could use a small triangular file to chase the threads to clean them up. place the file in the thread valley and gently rotate the bat. im not sure the exact thread pitch and size but you may find a tap and die set with those threads in it to truely clean them up. though with the tap and die set the fit would be a little bit looser than the original.

Do you clean them? Get some ISO alcohol and a soft toothbrush and go over the threads very vigorously to remove the gunk. Leaking juices will mess up your threads in no time.
