I have been looking to buy a new rig I have the 30watt eleaf and the aspire sub mod and alantis tanks. Both broke on me and I would like to get a good easy box mod. Not a cloud chaser but like a good big hit. What would be best the kanger sub box kit or the aspire odessy kit? Or is the a mod that I'm missing? I like the pass through charging as I don't own batteries or a charger

I have had great success with the Kanger sub box. I was at an outside party for New Years Eve and kept dropping my mod on the ice and nothing happened to it not even a chip.I love the this mod but it only goes to 50W so for me it is fantstic because I vape 12-14W but for some it is not enough.

For me ,yes it is. To be honest with you I like it so much that with the deeming regulations happening in the future I decided to stock up on this device . I have purchased 10 of the subbox mini. LOL top of my list.

So the kanger subbox is the top your list?

Evic VTC Mini (if you can find the 75watt upgraded get it, the standard 60watt can be upgraded to the ver2.0 firmware, the 75watt already has the firmware upgrade, upgrade also adds Stainless Steel Wire TC compatability), then the Subbox Mini or Nano, followed by the Sig Mini 30watt, Coolfire IV, then the Pegasus in that order. I own the Evic VTC Mini, Subbox Mini, Sig Mini 30watts, the Coolfire I've never touched to date though I've never had a problem with Innokin Products, I've owned 4 SVD's, 3 MVP (1 of each version up to the MVP 20watt), 3 iTaste VV's, 2 iTaste CLK's, and many iTaste Leo's (before they discontinued them) everyone was solid and kept up with my chain vaping habits :), I've seen the Pegasus up close and tinkered with it, was a customer's, nice little think 40watt mod, nice clean, nice asthetics, solid metal in a gun metal finish.

I'd suggest looking up some pbusardo, GrimmGreen, SuckMyMod, DJLsb, and Vapin Fagan, as well as @dbrandt01 on Youtube for reviews and such on any mod you are interested in, watch several highly suggested, more points of view and views on strengths, weaknesses, plus, faults and such, the better you are informed to make a good decision on what to buy.

For a mod with an internal fixed battery, you can't do better than the Innokin Coolfire IV.

For a mod that uses an external battery, either the Kbox mini or the iPV Mini are great choices, and not costly. They use external, swappable batteries, but both also have a USB for charging, and it works flawlessly. The Kbox Mini uses a magnetic battery door, which will attract misc. metal bits, and also comes off pretty easily, if that's a concern for you. The iPV Mini has a threaded battery door, so it's more secure, if your mods are prone to getting knocked around -- it won't attract misc. metal bits, and won't pop off unexpectedly.

Dont get the sub box, it doesn't have an adjustable center pin in the 510 connection. Evic mini or ipv d2/d3 are way better. Vapenw used to have the evic mini kit for $44. You want at least 50 watts and a mod that fires .2 ohm and up so some of the other ones mentioned I would stay away from. Tank wise subtank is a good solid choice. There are easily 10 great tanks to choose from. Watch reviews. Best of luck!

That's true about the Kbox Mini's fixed pin, so if you use several different attys, that might be a concern. If you use the same atty on it all the time, then much less of a problem. I always use an Achilles, and just using that, I haven't had any problems with the fixed pin. One night when I was playing with trying different attys on it, I did see the problem, and had to pop the pin back up.

I dunno anything about other iPVs except that they probably cost more than the iPV Mini -- but you did say you're happy with a 30w mod, which is why I recommended the iPV Mini; if you don't need more than 30w, no need to spend more, and the iPV Minis can be found VERY cheaply -- I got mine for xmas for $30, and the very next week, EVcigarettes where I got it was advertising them for $26 -- just black though.
