I would like to mix up some maple cream juice. I have tried Top Vapors and I would like to try to imitate that taste. I'm sure not a lot of people have tried it but someone with some long time experience in DIY might be able to point me in the right direction. I have maple & sweet cream from PA. I'm just afraid I will mess up and waste good flavoring.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've had the Top Vapor line but not that particular flavor. I think they use FlavourArt, so I doubt you can exactly replicate it. According to people who have tried the Sweet Cream from PA, it isn't sweet and it's more like Half & Half, so I don't think you'd want to use it. It's also better to try one flavor at a time when you start, so I'd recommend you mix a small batch using the Maple at 10%, see how it is, and go from there. After that if you have PA's Bavarian Cream that might make it into Maple Cream. :2c:

Here's my experience with Peach and Cream:

3ml VG base
1.0ml PA Peach
0.5ml PA Sweet Cream
0.5ml PA Cotton Candy

That's 40% flavoring, but...
18 hrs. after mixing, the peach was barely there, it had mostly a cream taste and it wasn't sweet. Adding cotton candy probably just clouded the peach taste without providing much sweetness.

I would suggest a ratio of 3 or 4 parts Maple to 1 part Sweet Cream and 1 part PA Sweetener. For a small test batch, just measure everything out by drops.

This is the problem I'm having with all her flavors. I'll get flavor at first then it fades off into nothing or nothing that that resembles the original. It's frustrating reading posts that say use 5-10% because I get nothing at that ratio and I don't care how long I let it sit.

I have only mixed up a test batch of one of her flavors (red bull) and that was my experience. Good at first but faded away, plus the vapor was weak, that might have been my fault but I have used the same ratio with lorann and vape has been awesome. It doesnt make sense but it's the truth. I used the flavor @ 20%.....

I don't have PA maple, but I do have the sweet cream. I don't think it is what you want with a maple cream, which I am guessing is like the cream in a maple bon-bon. The sweet cream to me is very much like heavy cream, but without the sweet or the fat, just the flavor. It lingers on the atty too. I use it, but not in the ways I predicted I would use it. Maple plus Lorann Bavarian Creme might be a better mix. PA Bavarian Creme to me is excellent, but its not the heavier butterier cream of Loranns. Its one of my favorites, but its very light to me, not like a custard.

Well that's 2 votes for bavarian cream, looks like thats the way to go. Off to the flavor store for some bc.....may have some pa sweet cream for sale or free if anyone wants it....; )

I find the SC is very strong. I made a 10% juice with it, and I will use a couple drops of that juice with a fruit juice I've made, no more. So the SC is very dilute. I liked it much more when I stopped treating it like most other flavors...10% is way much, but about 1% to me can work well in some juices.

Look into Lorann Vanilla Butternut too. It might be another choice for your maple cream. Lorann Butter also. Good luck! If nothing else you will likely make some good juices!
