Hello
this is a new thing and even though I though I understood I am not sure anymore.

I got some FlavorWest Dr, Pepper.

I used the ecalc and 0 nic 90 PG 10 VG and I wanted 25% Dr P, well Some one said that was a lot.
The taste was ok but actually seems week. Like it anyway, but...
I thought for the Dr P I saw 25 - 50
I thought that ment % to use in a ejuice.
Now Im not sure

Any help is appreciated
Clarity is good.

Thanks in advance

Hoosier hit it on the head. If this is a new flavor for you to mix with always start small and work your way up. Plus always give it some time to steep as well. You would be surprised what a few days sitting on the shelf will do with a fresh mix. I always start around 5% flavor level and 2% for tobacco flavorings. Tobacco is one that usually needs to steep a lot longer than others for the taste to develop. The biggest thing about DIY is patience.

let it sit for a couple of days. I dont even test my new mixes until after 3 days of steeping. Tobacco can takes almost a month to really shine. Also dont throw out any juices you make and just put them somewhere. You be surprised what they taste like after a couple of months of forgetting they were there.

Just wanna make sure I do understand

The flavor is week, smells good, but yes a per-fumy kinda taste over powers the flavor.

In this case Let it steep.

I am an impatient man. :( but if needed I can be.

Thanks

Since it is not a tobacco flavor I doubt steeping will help it further, but it won't hurt to set it aside and forget about it for a few weeks just to find out what happens.

I'd say it's time to try another batch with less flavoring.

Hiya, friend, glad you found your way over here. I told you the folks here were nice, too! I see you're getting some help with your Dr. Pepper. When you have exhausted all of these suggestions, I hope you find a satisfactory solution. If not, maybe FW Dr. Pepper will always be pleasant, not great. I dunno, never tried it.

Elbertdee,

I tried a flavor once and it reminded me so much of Dr. Pepper. It was Perfumers Apprentice/Signature's "Plum" flavoring. I think if you found a "Cola" flavoring that was good, 'Plum" added to it would be delicious! I buy my sweetener from her shop too. In a 30ml bottle of mixed juice, I add from 10-15 drops of sweetener to it.

Thanks
Ill check out the plum
I was thinking prune, but Duh plum is prune. The flavoring I have is Dr pepperish but the plum might just flesh it out.

Thanks

Makes sense....Dr Pepper always tastes like prune juice to me. Can you tell I'm not a Dr Pepper fan???
