I have been vaping for around 3 months now. I started on Blu...obviously found the light and switched to better things. I have used a Vivi Nova, Kanger EvoD and Vision Clearo with an Ego battery. my question is this and I have read the forums and just cannot get a definitive answer. I do not like the hot vapor the Vision gives off but it seems to have the best flavor and great vape. The Kanger was a disappointment as it tends to leak a lot at first and I dont like the hassle and seems to have a muted flavor. The vivi was alright never had any issues. For me I loved the Kangers vape but the taste and leak drove me away. My question is this.....what in the hell is the difference between using a clearo or a device such as a Provari with an atomizer? what are the benefits? My buddy strictly uses as he calls the "Caddy" of them all in a Provari and tells be im a vape noob until i get one...lol but he doesnt explain the difference too well. Can anyone tell me what the big deal is? I don't really understand the difference.

Your buddy is just messing with you. Provari is (one of) the best and most expensive things out there, but a vape is a vape. With a quality battery and clearo that suits you, you'll be fine.
There ARE some very, very good atomizers out there which, of course, will work on a Provari, but they'll also work on a $20 lavatube.
There are some $100+ atomizers which WILL give a better taste etc. but not using this sort of stuff doesn't make you some sort of permanent noob vaper.

:)

^^^^^^^^Agree 100% with djsvapour. Properly matching up the right juice delivery system ohms wise is the heart and soul of a great vape. Vision Vivi gives a warmer vape because the coil is at the top and closer to the mouth. As for your friend ask him if his Provari has variable wattage like the Vamo and other lower priced Mods. And as far as dripping the Reo Grand hits the ball out of the park every time vape wise.

I've had 2 Kanger T3's for about 6 weeks and never had a leak, thin juice, dark juice, light juice. Got a Protank last Saturday and no leaks with it either. Never tried an EvoD, but they seem very similar design to the other Kanger bcc's. I don't care for the 'warm' vape of the Vision clearos either. Just really pleased with the vape from my T3's and Protank which doesn't leave the house ;)

An atomizer will tend to give a much cleaner taste in my opinion. Maybe not cleaner as much as more pure or original to the true flavor of the eliquid. I have some issues with the flavor being muted in my vivi's and carto tanks. I have heard that the Kanger ProTank goes a long way toward putting out a good flavorful vape. But if you are catching the theme here this all revolves around the delivery device and not the PV itself. I personally believe that you can get just as good a vape on a $50 Vamo as you can on a ProVari. Will the Vamo last as long??? Probably not. But you can buy 4 Vamos for what you pay for 1 ProVari. Not that I am knocking ProVari. (Full disclosure-I want one really bad!!) The bottom line is the vape quality comes from having the right delivery device set to the right voltage/wattage for your tastes. Anyway. Just my :2c:

What dj says is true. The actual differences between a Provari and an ego would be that the Provari would last longer per battery charge, is built to last longer, has the capability of changing voltage outputs and reading atomizer ohms. If you want those things it's not a bad choice, but you can also get those things in other, not as costly devices. I will say that being able to adjust voltage is very nice.

and your 2c is good! I agree. Most clearos do lose a little flavour, so for some vapers, a really top atty is "where it's at". Sure.

I sometimes take my PV upstairs and drip some liquid - it is good! :)

The original poster needs a basic primer on the more common delivery devices that can be put on his battery. Take a look at this picture dictionary that I made for beginners. It provides a description of these devices, pictures of them on a battery, and a video demo on how they are filled.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...k-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Each one of these devices is constructed a little differently to provide a different kind of vaping experience. Everyone will have their own preference of what they like to use based on their gear, juices used, and own experience. What some one else likes does not guarantee that you will like it. You will need to experience them to decide which work best for your juices and gear setup.
