Pbusardo did a neat little tutorial. It's well worth a look. You could apply this technique to almost any of the CE4 style rebuildable clearos as well.

Oh, wick and wire. Many of the online stores sell supplies. Look for the sections on Rebuildable atomisers (RBA), DIY, and spares.

Edit: the formatting bot keeps eating the link. Try it this way:

I've also heard people say they get wick and wire very cheap on Ebay. For me in Australia it's actually cheaper to buy the smaller amounts from my usual on-line vape store when I buy other things. You're in the US so should be able to buy 100' spools for a few dollars.

Still reading and learning. I haven't lit a cig in over a month. Love my new habbit/hobby of vaping. My favorite setup so far is an Ego-C 1000mah battery and Vision Vivi Nova tanks. I need help on rebuilding and rewicking. Can someone give me a link on how to rebuild and what/where to buy the materials needed. Thanks in advance.

Temco is an American company that has awesome prices on Kanthal A1. I now have 100 feet of 28, 30, 32 and 34 gauge wire. Fast shipping too!

Kanthal Wire 30 Gauge RW0107 - 100 FT 0.39oz Series A-1 Resistance AWG

Silica is sort of hit and miss with prices. Generally any time you can find 3mm under a dollar a foot you are doing pretty good. Not all silica is created equal either! I've noticed some I have received is less tightly wound than others, making it harder to work with.

You might try Silica Wicks | The source of great supplies

Good info here. Regarding wicks, would cotton be suitable or stick with silica? Will need to do this myself in the next couple of weeks.

Cotton works and can wick very well, however you can obviously not dry burn the coil so it will require a rebuild as soon as the coil starts to get a full deposit on it.

Do a burn test on the cotton to make sure it is all natural fibre - no synthetics or blends need apply.

Good to know, not sure about the burn test though.
