I am not an expert, but there is a forum on this website:

Health, Safety and E-Smoking

I also think there was some new test recently as well supporting ecig safety.

I think the general feeling of influential members of this board is that ecigs are considered a method of "harm reduction" but should not be claimed to be 100% safe. Also, although I have heard many stories of people quitting smoking, it is also not supposed to be marketed as a smoking cessation product.

Just be aware that there are many terrible, ill-informed articles on the internet that use old or very one sided references to paint a bad picture of e-cigs.

Good luck.

I think it would be a wonderful thing if they allowed it becuase it would likely result in many people quiting.

Go to CASAA. They have all the latest study information and good handouts you can download. Just click on the banner at the bottom of this post. But please join and support CASAA. They are about the only group fighting to keep vaping from being banned. It's amazing and unforunate that no one here seems to know that CASAA even exists.

I for one am glad you said "vaping" and not Electronic Cigarettes/ECig. I haven't spoken up on this but I think we as a community need to rid ourselves of the term "Electronic Cigarette" and start using Vaping or another name/term to identify this new lifestyle/hobby. Every time I mention ECig to someone I can see them tuning out and turning off, while if I start with no it is not an ECig but a Vaping Device they seem to listen closely.

Sorry for being on a Soap Box...

I feel the same way, if all of us on these forums got involved, we would kick butts (did I just say that) in the political arena.!!! I plan on going to the town I live in to protest any bans of this awesome device, no way should any of it be banned.. thanks for your response!
