I am currently using an Ego Twist with a MT3 Clearomizer. I have so many problems with these batteries (pin pushed down, charger not working, etc.) that I think I just want to try something new. Also I have the battery turned all the way up so something with a higher voltage would be preferable. I am also wasting a lot of juice filling these bottom fill clearomizers because clearly I am not doing it right and juice leaks out the tip when filling. With that said, I feel like I get a better hit with the bottom fills so I keep buying them.

Things important to me:
Throat hit - stronger the better
tank - must be able to withstand Tasty Vapor's Atomic Cinnacide and not be super messy to fill.
Battery Life - would be great if I could get an entire day
Price - $100 or less (Honestly a Provari has been on my wish list for years but I don't think it is going to happen anytime soon. I really need something that is good but not out of my price range.)

Any suggestions on what I should get and where I should get it from?

Besides all the recommendations you are going to dealt. I would check out you-tube for the many product reviews that are available.
It's good to see this stuff in action on video.. pbusardo, grimm green, rip tripper, are only a few of the known non-biased reviewers out there..
Good Luck, I know you will find what your looking for..
Suppliers on ECF will have these available.

For $100.0 you can get about any of the China Clones, MPV, VAMO, ZMAX, etc. For a tank you will need glass which limits you to Protank in you price range. If you get a mod with removable battery you will need batteries (2) at about $8-10.00 each and a charger for another $12-15.00. Check out the MPV at MTBaker. The kit comes with with an Iclear 30 and a bottle of juice (your choice) for about $50.00. It does not include a wall wart charger plug so throw that in plus a Protank and you will be set.

Easy decision: Innokin MVP. A 2 - 3 day built-in rechargeable battery (no extra batteries or charger to buy). Passthru capable. Pocket-worthy, durable, lightweight, and extremely comfortable in the hand. Is equally comfortable at home or away. Looks classy - doesn't look like a light saber, something from a head shop, or a woman's sex toy. And only $50. That's easily the cost of two Twists or a Vamo, and the MVP is the only mod that doesn't require a backup because of down time for charging.

I totally agree with Baditude here! the MVP is a great little box mod. I have one in rotation at all times and 2 purchased in my back up vaper lair. lolz

Also wanted to throw out the Trixie from Madvapes. They took the "guts" out of the Gripper mod and put them into a wooden box, sturdied it up a bit, and wowza, it is a phenomenal vape! Small, pocket friendly, standard tank will fit on top of it, just a heck of a mod. I liked it so well I purchased backups of it as well. It retails for $69.95, so it would fit in your price range. Also need 18650 batteries for it, but even purchasing 3 of those would keep you under the $100 budget.

Definitely go IBtanked for pyrex tanks that can take the cinnacide abuse. :) Tons of vendors carry cartos, you can choose between Boge, smoktech, and ikenvape. Baditude loves him some ikenvapes, I love Boge. I think I can speak for both of us that if you choose to purchase low resistance or LR cartos, either the ikenvape brand or Boge, you will be happy. You can crank up the voltage on your mod and really find a warm sweet spot with LR cartos. Ikenvapes are hard to find in stock, (which is the only reason I don't use them). Boges are available just about everywhere.

When I use the MVP or the Trixie, I use the LR carto at about 4.5-4.6 volts. Nice warm vape, great throat hit. Change the carto every few days, no hassle and easy. I charge the MVP at night, and I change the battery in my Trixie at night. I get all day vaping out of both of those mods. Also, if you have not been a carto user before and are looking to change over from clearos, check out Baditudes blog about cartos and tanks. You can find it when you see the blog tag under his signature in the above reply. It is a must read excellent information for all vapers!

Good luck!

I can't tell, it's a pic from the internet that I use to show the size of the mod in a hand. It looks like a cartotank of some sort. Until you asked I always thought it was an iClear 30.

My recommendation though would be the Innokin iClear 30 clearotank. IMO the best clearomizer on the market. Nearly as good of flavor and vapor as my cartotanks, but faster and easier to maintain. Dual top coils and 16 wicks assure plenty of vapor and proper wicking for no dry hits. Comfortable adjustable drip tip that tilts. Easy top fill. How To...Replace the atomizer and fill an iClear 30 clearo

Some of these topics here might be useful.
APV Discussion

I've owned a lot of stuff, my recommendations would cost over $150 (REO or PROVARI) , so in your budget range I'll just say that I enjoyed using the Sigelei Zmaz V3 or V5.
It is a telescoping mod, so you can use with 18350, 18490 as well as 18650 (12+ hours) mode. It is both Variable Wattage and Variable Voltage. Most bang for the buck IMHO.

I made this photo to post in topics like this, so newbies can see size comparison to an regular non VV EGO battery.

the first photo is in 18350 mode, the 2nd is in 18490 mode. I am female and have "smallish" hands even for a gal. At any rate, hope it helps ya some. :)

If you want a mechanical mod, then this wouldn't be it.

If you like a box shape, then indeed the MVP 2.0 suggested by Baditude is a nice vape, too~

Just agreeing with NICnurse here regarding the Trixie. I LOVE mine. I have the mahogany one. Hubby has the mesquite. He loves his Trixie too. An excellent vape, sturdy, reliable and VV with ohm checker and battery voltage meter. Here's a pic of mine.

I use carto tanks and like them very much. Not a fan of wick style clearomizer type tanks.

Vision has an ARO tank now, bottom coil, easy to fill. Just avoid getting juice in the center stem. the atty's are easy to clean and dry burn, and so i replace them less often. at 1.8 ohm on a 900 Vision VV, the Cinna-roll i so adore is perfect and I change change up the flavor by playing with voltage still.... The Aro tanks are easy to clean too.... That's a HUGE perk for me, since I don't want to spend a ton and enjoy variety.....

I've found that the things susazproof up to now are Twist family batts. I love the V8 mega, a 1300mAh batt that can be used as a passthrough and, unlike the MVP goes all the way to 6v (be mindful, you never know when you might need it). Only 20 bucks on FT, I prefer to have three of those than plunk all of my money on a single mod that be the case it goes south you'll cry very bitter tears.

I don't like the Protank, but I'm very much in love with the Puritank. Considerably cheaper than the Protank, has a better, less airy draw, and the base has a shorter 510 connector so it has a better contact with batts. Plus, it's glass, it can use either eVod or Protank heads, and your own driptip ;=)

The whole setup (3 batts, 2 clearos and a pack of heads) is well under 100 bucks. Throw in a pack of driptips and you're good to go for a long while. I've had this setup for a couple of months now and I can recommend it heartily.

I haven't used one, as they are not on the market yet. They have been included with one of Innokin's newer mods as part of the kit. PBusardo has reviewed it (I think) but I haven't viewed the video yet.

They changed the design from the iClear 30. Still a dual coil, but if not mistaken the 30S now has bottom coils instead of top coils. Theoretically this would provide a slightly cooler vape, although I never thought of the original iClear 30 as having a warm vape.

Busardo tore one apart, still a top coil. Watch the end of the VTR video

What about a vamo? It's cheap and has a lot of features? I also hear a lot of good about the Kanger Protanks. You can rebuild them yourself to customize or you can just order premade heads. It can also withstand the liquid you mentioned. Just a few things to look at.

I agree. Never a problem and the one battery used is plenty if it's set to 5 volts. But goes to 6. Good price.
