Need thingy-doo for genny

I went to change the battery in my mech yesterday, and there was juice all over it. Not good. Upon investigating this I determined that it's coming out the middle of my genny down that post in the middle. That means it's getting past that thingy-doo that's supposed to keep that from happening. So the thingy-doo that came with my RSST's don't work too good, and I want to get ones that do. So does anyone know where I can get a couple dozen non-leaking thingy-doos?

Are you referring to the top or the bottom insulator?

I had the same issue with my pyrex RSST and ended up replacing the insulators with the flexible ones found in the AGA series, as well as wrapping a bit of teflon tape around the center post below the top insulator.

AGA squishy insulators can be found on kidneypuncher. I think they are something like $2 for 10 of them.

It's the one at the top, and you are right, it's a non-squishy one, but if juice is getting down into the mech it's also getting past the bottom thingy-doo. Is there a squishy one of those I can also get?

To clarify, the RSST comes with a non-squishy insulator and you want to GET the squishy insulator.

As far as the bottom insulator is concerned, I never got that far in my leak stopping quest. Replacing the top insulator and giving it a few wraps of teflon tape solved my problem so I stopped looking at that point. You may be able to find a silicone insulator for the bottom as well somewhere, but it may not be entirely necessary.

I own four of your RSST genesis atomizers, and while I regard it as a very fine product which I have used for two years now I find myself constrained to point out a certain flaw in the product as it is sold, that being the positive post insulating thingydoo. It's not squishy. It should be. That it is not causes it to leak one's juice down in the the mech and onto the battery, resulting in post-vape cognitive dissonance, distressing widows and orphans, anguishing honest souls, and writing sorrow on the bossom of the earth.

In view of these profoundly sorrowful consequences I am certain you will wish to correct the aforementioned defect, rectifying any lapse of faith in your good stewardship and retaining the good will of your faithful patrons in the marketplace.
