need tips and advice for DIY eliquid

I would like to try to start making my own eliquid, mostly for the benefit of saving some money and being able to make a large supply.
My favorite liquid ( and pretty much the only thing I vape) is 11-12 mg Dekang Doublemint (green Mint) PG. So this is what I'm aiming to make. Would it be better to just order a 36 mg strength and dilute it down with some PG? But what about flavor? where can I buy double mint flavoring?

Can anyone tell me where I would get supplies to make it myself? Any tips or instructions for doing so?

I usually order through litecig, but don't see any DIY supplies.

I just mix lorann oil spearmint flavoring (very strong) to unflavored and it is pretty close but not as sweet as the gum.

Both Cool Mint and Spearmint at Capella Flavor Drops are very good, plus you can order a bottle of plain PG from them for $3.95.

The initial cost of the flavoring/PG will set you back about the cost of a 30 ml pre-mixed, but it will stretch a 36 mg bottle of pre-mixed into 3 bottles several times over.

I was basically unsure where to get flavors and such. Im so used to just getting on Litecig and ordering my double mint.

Hopefully this will get me pointed in the right direction.

Are the Lorann oils actually oil based? I know it might be a dumb question, but wouldn't that gunk up the atty? Or is the oil just a name for the flavoring product?
