So this may sound insane but I never smoked other then cigars on the rarest of occasion before vaping however, once I started I took it as a hobby.

I enjoyed the nicotine head whirl when i first started with the 'starter kits' but now this cloud chasing makes me want to blow cloud after cloud and that just doesn't work well with any nicotine level.

My question is, are there member's out there who went from smoking to vaping nic, to vaping, 0mg?

How do you like vaping huge clouds with nicotine? I just can't take it rofl

I know there are people on ECF who use 0 nice e-liquids.

If you want some nicotine, but less than you've got now, you could mix 0 nic and 6 mg e-liquids, a 50-50 mix obviously would give you 3 Mg.

Hey Glenn! I have tried that, but being that I'm hand dripping from the bottles to re fill every 5 drags it's a bit of a pain in the you know what. Maybe i'll try that in my genisis. Sounds like a possibility. Though nicotine-less I'm sure is best health wise? lol

Although I like a certain amount of vapor to be sure, I vape more for flavor than "clouds of vapor"...despite having mods & RBAs that can certainly create a small fog bank!

Folks are all over the map with this, but if one's desire is to get rid of nicotine altogether, what harm in that?

I have settled in at the 12mg level for nic (for the most part of a year now), as this works for me and I am most comfortable at that level, but I know even huge cloud chasers who still prefer 18mg of nic...and I know vapers who are quite happy at 0mg nic.

For those 18mg cloud chaser's I wonder if smoking prior allow's them to feel at ease about doing that. I'm turning into a 0mg for life! LOL
The throat hit is enough for me to say "no thanks bro" I just love watching the waves of flavorful throat hit-less massive clouds leaving my mouth and fogging my surroundings. My girl turns on the fan every time I do, but hey... she's gotta work out somehow... lol jk but she really does that haha

Hello :) I do 0 mg e liquid from time to time. Mostly when I am very stressed and just using vaping as a distraction. 5 volts and 3.0 ohm Boge cartomizers put out enough vapor for me. Used my MVP with an EVOD at 3.7 volts for about 6 weeks, and when I got my ProVari back the 16 mg liquid was too much. Dropped it down to 6 mg and alternate with 0 mg :)

Throat hit is a function of much more than nic level, though. How a juice is mixed has a lot to do with throat hit. I have some 18mg juice that has absolutely NO throat hit. It tastes great, and I get reasonable vapor production, but there is NO throat hit at all.

I know that PGA can deliver a terrible throat hit if too much is used, and it can be used to adjust throat hit to some degree, though it is a different type of hit than a heavy PG mix hit.

If you want to go 0mg, and I certainly commend you for that, See if you can find a mix that's 100%VG. Throat hit is lower in general and vapor production is higher with VG. Most companies don't make it 100% because most flavors are PG based to some degree, but it can be found.

It's weird man, If I use a variable voltage with a cartomizer I can vape nic no prob. But this Mech MODS and re buildables and blowing vape out cha mouth for 3+ seconds without the cloud dimming down one bit, I can't do nic wayyy to OP

You know I have been taking that into consideration amongst the other million things involved in vaping. I think my local shop has been short of informing me on what I should be trying. right now I have baker white. I've done some re search on them but I can not for the life of me find their PG/VG mix. It delivers a throat hit at 6mg that I'm just done with quite frankly. I ordered some cotton candy 80%VG 20%PG e juice online yesterday, how do you think that will evolve from the bakers white I've been vaping? The reason I didn't go 100%VG was I am still looking for a moderate amount of flavor and a teeny weeny throat hit with taking a fat cloud.

I too came from cigar smoking to vaping, and have been vaping for about 3 years now. I like big clouds of vapor. I mix my own juice, and have settled at 4mg/ml, and sometimes I do zero. My eliquids are very simple. I use a hot VG method to extract cigar flavoring from a cigar. A single cigar gives me enough flavoring for about a year. I use 70/30 PG/VG and have been using the same bottle of 36 mg/ml nic for 2 years. I add a few drops of peach and/or apple flavoring, and I'm good to go. Combined with building my own genesis coils, vaping is very inexpensive. Sometimes I'll mix a small batch of 12 mg/ml if I feel like a strong nic hit, but that doesn't happen very often.

For some reason that sounds complicated to me but I'm sure glad you found something you like, and works well!
