Ever heard the expression "There's no free lunch"? I have an e-store (not e cig related) and I ship "free" just to keep it simple. When I do my cost analysis, the true cost of shipping is added to the price.

I can appreciate wanting to buy this and that from several different stores. I just won't buy from vendors that try to make a profit from the shipping. It's also been my experience that 1st class mail is just as fast as priority in most cases.

1/3 of an order for processing? You mean credit card processing right? It's usually from 1.5% - 3% except Amex which I believe is 4% or thereabouts. If amazon started selling ejuice you could get free two day shipping with prime membership.

*sigh* If only Amazon allowed ejuice to be sold. Though you might see some for sale on Amazon, it's rare cuz they don't allow e-cig stuff to be sold :(

Vendors have a HUGE issue with credit card processing. Many of them get their processing yanked out from under them. CC companies consider ecigs a high risk item and most won't even touch them. I've heard of vendors having to pay enormous rates and many even asked to keep escrow in thousands to cover any chargebacks. It really is a huge issue for vendors with many having to shut down (or can't even get started) due to cc processing issues.

If you see a vendor with insanely low pricing or still taking Paypal - they are lucky to still be in business and may have rug pulled from under them at anytime with CC processors. Grrr! I hate that ecigs are treated as high risk but...that it is what it is.

Re: Free Shipping... Be great if everyone could offer it but nothing really ships for free. Most vendors do have an order threshold and offer free shipping over a certain point but they do have to pay shipping so of course prices do take that into account. I recently found eliquids locally and was in sticker shock when I heard 3 - 10ml bottles was $38 and change lol... Man... I'll stick to paying for shipping as I need to for now :D

I want to order a little of this and a lot of that and I can't find any vendors with free shipping...it's driving me crazy. I have found sites that sell from various manufacturers but I still want more from other sites. GRR.

I'm guessing the answer is no. Wouldn't it be nice though???

Nothing is free, including free shipping. You pay for it one way or the other, either as a line item or in the price of the goods. It just makes you feel better not to have it as a line item ;).

Free shipping just means that you paid for it in the purchase price. Anything in a retail outlet is priced according to the cost of getting it into stock, processed, and out the door. We pay the cost of shipping TO the supplier, the cost of employees, rent, supplies, machinery, and whatever else is used to produce product.

There is no free shipping unless it's a promotion. Then, it comes off the tax form at the end of the year as an expense.

It's nice when you can find a supplier that has everything and you only pay shipping once. I hate it when I have to place orders with 4 suppliers to get everything I want.

I don't mind paying shipping when it is reasonable. Even if it's on the high side, it's still cheaper than driving to get whateveritis. I have madvapes located a little over an hour away but they charge higher prices than the web site and if I want something from them, it's cheaper to pay $3 than driving to the store. I've visited the store a couple times and asked (and got) the web site prices though. I get my cartos from crystalclearvaping.com , they have good prices and the shipping is included. SuperTmanufacturing.com gets my business for batteries, their shipping is around $3 and that's reasonable. Wizardlabs has great prices on diy nic and mixings and shipping is reasonable.

I'm at a point now where I don't have to order anything all that often.

elitevaporworks.com and surevapes.com have free shipping. Try those out and see if it works out. If I find more, i will let you know. Make sure you do the math, sometimes places with free shipping put up the prices of some of their items to make up for cost, so it ends up being about the same.

Surevapes is awesome btw...

Crystal Clear Vaping has 100% free shipping if that already hasn't been pointed out.

Good points about S&H fees includes in the prices. That's something I'll look for when ordering.

Thanks for listing the companies that have free shipping!

I don't mind paying for S&H so much as I mind when companies raise the prices to if I'm only placing a small order. $3.99 isn't bad but some places charge up to $7.

I had to order a dual water valve for my refrigerator icemaker a couple of weeks ago. It came in an ecig shipment sized box and they charged me $10.45 USPS shipping for an 8 ounce package. Was I ripped? Yep ... I'm used to ejuice vendor $5 prices.
