Need upgrade Parts

Wife and I have 4 REOs we use, had them for about 3 years or so. My Grand has the new 510 connection and the gold spring and terminal switch things.

I want to go to the gold plated spring and switch things for my wife's Grand, but also the new 510 connection thing. I can find the gold spring and switch stuff on the REO page but I can't find the new 510 fitting available as a part. What's to do? I have little interest in sending the Grand on a cross country trip.

Pretty much no choice but to send it to the spa for a new 510 connector... There is no in the field part that Rob sells...sorry...

Your best bet is to send them in all at once.. I didn't like doing the new gold contact upgrade and even broke the pin trying and I ended up buying another... and I'm even handy so..

What I did was buy a new one and when it showed up sent the 2 in for upgrades.

Trust me you want the new gold contacts.. no more messed up contacts thst are all pitted from arching. Just put some deoxit gold on there from time to time and your golden.. as long as you have good new batteries or sanded the contacts smooth again.

Jup, what muzic said....they have to be pressed in. However, if you have a way to press them in, you might could call Rob, and talk to him about it and see what he says

Same here. Sent 2 to Rob on Friday, Oct. 23rd for new 510. Paid for the invoice on Wed. Oct. 28th. It arrived Friday morning Oct. 30th at the Post Office. I even went there at 9am to pick it up. Was vaping by 10am.

Aside from mailing costs, how much does it cost?
