I want to upgrade older Mini need advice please

I have a newer Grand with gold contacts and it seem so much more powerful than my older mini

To make my mini like this do I need a gold spring, gold contacts and a new button or do I need more?

Just contact rob at reosmods and let him know what you want and send it in. Best bet is to get the whole thing done with new stainless steel 510 connector as well.

I got the upgrade kit for my mini, and just by putting in the 510 tube connector and new gold firing pin in (I kept the new gold spring as a spare, just left my old spring in there) it now kicks as much ayuss as my new grands do. You could send it in but it's easy enough to do on your own, took me 5 minutes or less.

The new contacts will lower the voltage drop from the mod and will make it better. Each battery has an internal voltage drop. The battery in the grand might have a lower internal resistance than the battery for your mini, if so the grand has a lower voltage drop caused by the battery.

Bottom line new contacts will make it hit harder but because of battery difference it might not hit quite as hard as the grand.

You should change the spring and keep the older silver one as a backup, the old spring adds a lot of voltage drop.

Yup and clean the spring screw hole on the mod real good as that's your ground connection.

The adjustable 510 upgrade is a personal choice thing.

Seven of my metal Reos are new enough to have it, the other five do not. Only one more will get it, the other four will not.
