Hi and welcome!

First, I would recommend contacting the seller.

Second, have you previously tried any other mech mod?

Third, are you sure you put in the battery in the correct polarity?

Fourth, (actually connected to the first three) ... don't try to force the patriot onto the mod, you might get hurt if there are wrong or faulty connections there.

Lastly, I hope you bought the mod and RDA which come in matching colors.

actually, with a mech like the Nemesis, you can put the battery in either way and it will fire. However, it is recommended to have the positive up and the neg on the button....so you're good there.
Take the top cap off the mod and screw on the atty. There will be a thumb screw under the 510...make sure it is in contact with the atty. Make sure the kick ring is not installed. It is a thin (3mm) body tube section. Screw the mod together and tighten up the switch until it gets snug. You should have zero battery rattle when you shake the mod.

Nemesis advice.....I feel like I just went back in time! Great mod and Welcome to ECF. It should be said that when using a mech, please use good batteries from a reputable vendor. Samsung 25R are the ones I trust. Illumn has them for about $6 each. There are others, Sony VTC 4 or 5, LG HE 2,4 .... read up on battery safety and Ohms law. Plenty of information right here in the forum.

There are three primary things to check.

First, make sure the battery doesn't rattle. If it does then you've got the kick ring installed and need to remove it. The kick ring is the smallest tube section that should only be used if you've also installed a kick module to regulate the wattage.

The kick ring is the ring the arrow is pointing to in this picture:

Second, with the atomizer attached remove the top cap and check the thumb screw in the bottom. It should be nice and snug against the 510 pin. If it's loose, tighten it up until it's snug. Do NOT try to overtighten it. Just tight enough to be snug is fine.

And finally, remove the button from the bottom. Using your thumb press down the outer black insulating ring so the center thumb screw is sticking up. Tighten that thumb screw up until it is also nice and snug. This pin you do want a bit tight or it will unscrew itself as you use the mod and remove the button to replace the battery. Check to make sure it's still nice and snug each time you replace the battery.

A mechanical mod is a tube and a switch to complete the circuit. Check that all the bits are supposed to be connected are connecting including the coil. You said that the battery took 6 hours to charge, that doesn't sound right. What battery and what charger are you using?

6 hours to charge is pretty normal if it's a trickle charger and a high mAh battery.

A 500mAh charger will take around 6 hours to fully charge a 3000mAh battery if the battery is basically flat to start with.

Hi i m from india, and i have been vaping since 1 year.i have an evod. But recently i bought a nemesis mod with patriot RDA from ivape.in I have charged the battery ie 18650 for 6 hours nd installed all the wick nd coil.but the mod is not firing. ...i have tried tightening all the screws nd all.pls help......how do i check the firing pin...?.

My guess is your centerpin is not contacting and/or you have battery rattle.

take the topcap off the nemesis
unscrew the adjustment screws
affix the topcap to the patriot rda
put in the big adjustment screw, and tighten it firmly
put in the small battery ratte adjustment screw.

assemble.
