Would like to thank everyone on this site for all the great info!

I am new to vaping and have been using a twist for some time but it wasn't cutting it? stepped up to a VAMO v5 with a pro tank and have been off cigs for 20 days now !!!!

i stepped it up again! Got a Nemesis with a kayfun 3.1 upgraded the switch and a hybrid adaptor for the kayfun 3.1 some 28
[h=1]Kanthal Wire, (4) vtc5 18650, (4) purple efest 18350, LUC V4 charger. i'm set!!! I'm on my 3rd coil but could not get the wick right? Now on my 4th coil got the wick right and WOW !!!! The flavor!!!! I'm using a 1.3 ohm coil and it is wicking great that is when you figure out how long to cut the cotton? I'm loving it!!!![/h]
Now for some advice please? thinking about getting a Kick 2 for this? what do you think? should i get a Kick 2 for this? Also what is the preferred coil for this setup? should i got down to a .8 ohm coil for more vape or stay where I'm at?

thanks again for the help and a great site!

With a kick and a 3.1 it will be unsightly big although a regulated vape is consistant. I think the battery life might suffer a bit. I myself have a nitecore i4. Kayfuns are not for sub-ohming although it can be done. When I purchased my authentic kfl+v2 the previous owner went to low and chain vaped it or something and melted the insulator. Kayfuns are a flavor tank. If you want more vapor go for an rda. I currently have a 2.5 ohm build in mine for s^&*'s and giggles. I almost kinda like the cooler vape. Flavor production is also still pretty good.

I think the kick 2 is good down to .5 ohm ? i was thinking about using the kick only when i am using the 18350 batteries? my thinking is that the batteries would last longer ( i have a tendency to change them to soon ) the kick 2 will let you know when you hit the battery low voltage cutoff. i have been using the nemesis with 18350 when i'm out and about and this thing is tinny with the hybrid adaptor. when i'm at home I am using the 18650 don't care if it looks like a light saber at home

My next perches will be for a RDA? Any suggestions? thinking about the Zenith V2 or a Tobh?

I have the nimbus and Trident v2, works good for me. Dripping is a pain imo. to much messing with them. Not fully draining batteries is the key to longevity. I never or atleast try not to drain them below 3.8v. 18350's just seem like they would last for what seemed like 2 seconds. Don't ever think one could kill a full kayfun tank lol. Also I don't think that it would increase battery life, it will prolly suffer to some degree as it takes power to keep the chip running. The only thing I could see using a kick for would be the consistency of a regulated vape and some safety as not to drain the battery to low.

I know the 3D fits hybrid to the nemesis.

I take my kicked kayfun (R91 actually) to work. The kick has made me lazy when I build coils because I just wrap it 'in the ballpark' of 1.5-2Ω and the kick takes care of the rest. I had to drop down to 18490's, but they last longer than the 650's. I don't have an extender for my mod or I would use the big ones.

If you want to subohm a kick is not very useful, but I want my setup to last all day at work and with a kick it does.

The vape is not 100% consistent and starts to taper off as the battery drains, but it is a huge improvement over just a mech.

My Nemesis with 18650 and a Kick is still quite a bit smaller than my Vamo and only 1/4 inch longer than the Vamo when the Vamo is in 18350 mode so as far as size is concerned it's still a fairly small mod.
I typically run mine with an 18650 at home and 18350 when I'm out and about and always with a Kick.

I recommend getting the Evolve Kick 2 over the Kick clones. I have the Smoktech Kick and although it works there are times I have to fuss with it because the single ground post isn't making good electrical contact with the tube.
