I'll start off by saying I do not support clones, but I'll give you my 2 cents based on ones I have tried that my friends own.

Just about everyone these days has a nemesis clone because there are good clones available, some of the best as far as clones go. One of my friends has one that has had a few problems, mainly just issues with the firing switch, but they were easy fixes. Overall they are decent mods so you really cant go wrong with this.

I have never tried a king clone but I do have an authentic king mod and it is my go to mechanical, second to my vanilla. I love the king, the threads are buttery smooth, its nice and heavy, and it hits like a champ. I cant speak for the clones on this but if its anything like the authentic one, you will like it a lot.

I have never tried the templar mod, but someone else should be able to give you some input on that.

The real King is workhorse...not sure about the clones, the older clone King was Chi You clone...look at them closer...there are slight differences...but not much..in fact the magnets upgrade fits both...the older HCigar looking ones were decent but never get 2nd revision by HCigar yet

The 2014 Infinite King Clone is getting rave reviews...you should go to youtube and check out twisted420's review...I actually have one in the box still, order it and threw into my pile..

"I'm looking at HCigar clones and I have heard they are tops when it comes to clones. "
--probably only the Nemesis...people are slamming the HCigar Stingray brass firing switch for crappy magnets

No clones are "tops"...one person's HCigar/Insert another Chinese brand is awesome hits like mac truck and then next then I'm reading "OMG, my switch is stuck, what did I do wrong."

IMHO, all clones need little tinkering, cleaning etc out of the box.

I'll second the nobody is the best clone provider comment. Companies like HCigar and Infinite are not manufacturers although people keep referring to them as such. They are just like FastTech, other than not doing direct public or individual sales, in that they seek manufacturers, like Tobeco, and pick one to make a particular model then offer it for sale. Sometimes the manufacturer chosen does an excellent job, sometimes mediocre, sometimes awful.

So it makes sense to say that the Infinite black copper Stingray is good. But it's also misleading. It would be much more accurate to say that the manufacturer Infinite chose to make the black copper Stingray is good. It makes perfect sense to say that the Tobeco Kayfun lite + clones are good since they are the manufacturer.

A number of the companies that manufacture clones like this arrangement because it hides them. We the purchasers never get to see the actual company that does the production, hence treating HCigar as if they made things when they don't.

So you'll want to decide on a particular model that you want. Then you can find the best purchase option. Ie, if you asks who makes the best Stingray, you're now asking the correct question.

Just going by what I have heard. I was aware that HCigar and Infinite are not manufacturers. But the clones of certain models they sell are regarded as the better ones on the market. All of the different manufacturers and companies that carry them are the big reason I decided not to go with a Panzer clone. I have yet to get the opinion of the best Panzer clone on the market. Seems like they all have a different issue.

Yeah that's the thing when buying clones...there's no "one" manufacturer. I mean for my legitimate nemesis, I know atmomixani is making it and they have very high standards. When it's HCigar or Tobecco or whatnot, even those guys are buying parts from subcontractors so you can never be certain in terms of quality control. Cheaper price is a plus of clones, quality that can very wildly is the downside.

EHPro makes the best panzer clone I have seen.
Hot Technogies makes fantastic clones of the king and nemesis mods.

The king is a beast of a mod and the good clones are almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
My brass king clone is one of the best mods I've owned.

Does the EPhro suffer from some of the other issues that the other Panzer clones suffer from??

And Hot Technologies. Not familiar with them.

And damn those EPhro clones are pretty spendy as far as clones are concerned.

I think by "people" you mean "person."

My Hcigar brass Stingray is ..... Behind the Tree of Life clone by Infinite, it's my most preferred clone.

I have 5 clones . . .

Hcigar:
Brass Stingray (performs great)
69 (performs great, though, like the original, the button sucks)
Caravela (performs great though should have provided multiple positive pins)

Infinite:
Black Copper Stingray (Very finicky button, though if you can put that aside it hits like a train)
Tree of Life (I can't tell any appreciable difference between the clone and the original, and, yes, I've scrutinized the clone and original side-by-side)

All but the Black Copper Stingray perform great, though Hcigar would have done well to provide multiple positive pins like the original did to make sure there's always good contact with the battery.

All that said, my 3 original mechs (Atmizoo Roller, GP Custom Akuma, Vape Sirs Sir Lancelot), none of which have been cloned, blow any of those out of the water.

I'm waiting to see how long it takes Infinite to clone the Ember (the sister mech to the Tree of Life). They are virtually the same and I'd bet that Infinite will knock that one out of the park too.
