my nemi nemesis clone from F.T. finally came in and i am appalled by its quality. the drilled air ports dont all line up and the 510 needs to be dermaled to let air past. the switch is flimsy as all hell and the housing is really thin. it will do for now till I got money to order a g16

playing around with my omnitester I just got, this mod has around a .4v added voltage drop. using same 14650 in this an my overdose with no load 4v, the overdose fires at 3.7v an the nemi is at 3.3-3.4v. this is with a 1.9Ω load and is not heating this atty up enough for it to wick on this mod. no more clones for me, half these case dissatisfaction

Don't judge all clones because of one bad apple. The Nemesis clones are reputably bad (and cheap, I've seen them selling for as low as $8). The two I've used in real life were both terribly janky. One of them had a totally ruined locking ring, and couldn't be locked/unlocked without the entire button/spring popping out, and the other one simply had incredible hot button issues (meaning voltage was likely being seeped to the button).

Coulda asked us, pretty sure most people on here would tell you to stay away from Nemesis clones.

Well why not put the fasttech link so we know which one?
There are lots of nemesis clones on ft from lots of different factories.

Don't forget to post a review on the fasttech site for the one you got ;
enough bad reviews and they might discontinue stocking that particular item.

Generally I'd agree however I have a Nemi clone that will be amazing once the magnet mod is completed. I won't argue since it is probably the most cloned mod out there and a LOT of them are a waste of stainless steel; but there are some good ones if you are lucky like me and can hit up a B&M and see the exact one you're purchasing (I went through 2 before I said "Yep, I'll take this one")

oh, sorry for no link. I am not too worried about it was only $15 an $10 cheaper than when I first ordered it. this was the best of two back in july, they did add a bunch of funky colored one. I maybe fix it someday

Depends on the money you want to spend.
For $25 - $50 you can get good to as solid as the authentic, if not as well finished.
Some mods:
GP Piccolo
Gus
Ba Gua ( i have this in 16mm) careful, though, while this is a great mod, there are clones out there with massive v drop

Also, for around $80 Super T was selling the Simplicity 16500.
Its more, but for an authentic from a top notch company, including rhodium contacts, its a while lotta bang for your bucks :)

You really cant go wrong with either one of those.
Both are excellent products.
The Gus has a button you spin to lock. Its a short throw, and a quarter turn to lock.
The Super T has a lock ring. Once you set it up using washers, if you turn the mod and the ring in opposi g directions, its a quarter turn as well.
It comes down to cosmetics.
If you like a more elaborate look, with an engraving and several materials mixed in the same mod, the Gus.
If you like the minimalist beauty found in a quality tool, or high end weapon, the Super T.
The ST also comes with a lifetime warranty, and rhodium contacts

If you decide to go with the Super T, pm me, and I will show you how to set it up.
Its different than most mods, and I have seen too many people running them with a gap between the atty and the mod

Sadly it seems like sometimes it is luck of the draw. I've had some great clones - and some that just sucked. Been lucky and only got a few junk ones. I actually have 3 Nemesis clones, 2 brass and 1 stainless and love them all. The drawback to a clone being as popular as the Nemesis is, is that the market gets flooded with clones - some of questionable quality. Seems like the quality control varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, and when you buy from Fast Tech it is difficult to actually know who made what you're buying. If you want to give another Nemesis clone a try I suggest one made by HCigar, they seem to distribute good Nemesis clones. Still have no clue who actually makes them though ;)

The Workhorse from Super T is a fantastic mech mod, and very well priced. I strongly recommend it.

I bought, then sold, two Nemesis authentics - a standard SS and a naval brass.

I dont understand why the are so popular. Sure they hit hard, especially the naval, but they are so finicky, and take forever to lock. Screw screw screw screw screw tug on button screw screw screw dang it the switch walked now i have rattle screw screw....

I exagerate, but so many other mods hit just as hard and are much simpler. I am obviously missing something, lol.

About a million vapers cant be wrong

And +2 on the Workhorse, heck, +9000 on any Super T product

I love all 3 of my Nemesis clones, however ;) I would never dream of spending the money on an authentic, just not worth it to me. I have also heard in many instances instances some of the clones actually work better than the authentics (???). As much as I love my Chemesis mods, I only use them at home. They are the most quirky and finicky of all my mods.
