So Ima gonna give a try at making some of this NET juice and need some guidance via the chemistry.

I understand the final concentrate will yield between 2 to 3mg nicotine-containing fluid . Once the juice is processed and filtered.

So, fine I have my liquid, and prepare to open up the 'ol eJuicemeup calculator.

Lets say I am going for 25mg nicotine strength final result. How do I incorporate, precisely, this 2 or 3mg nicotine fluid into the recipe for both nicotine content and flavor? And, is there a way to ascertain what percentage of VG,PG or both is in this cigar fluid or does it matter?

Am I having a brainfart here?

Precise measurements are important to me as much as possible.

As I type this, I am thinking " Scott you are currently experiencing neuro-flatulence", so anybody got a "Brain-TUMS" ?

I did some cigar extracts with PG, we tested some at the local shop and there wasn't enough nicotine to measure. I didn't use any heat, just soaked in PG for a week and then filtered. If you use heat you might get some nicotine, if you use alcohol you for sure will. I use my extracts at 10% in the juices I make. Even if there is 3mg/100ml of nicotine in your extracts, there's not enough to bother with if you use 10% in your mix.

I'd suggest focusing on your technique for extracting and filtering. Are you going to measure your tobacco by weight or volume? What kinds or filters are you going to use? How big are the batches going to be? These are all likely to change as you start doing a few and tweaking the process. Once you get a good routine down that works for you, then it's time to worry about precise measurements and repeatability. I'm still tweaking my process a bit. I'm trying to get away from the paper coffee filters because they absorb too much of the extract. I've been using these lately for first filtering stage:
Cafe Cup Reusable Cup Pod - 4 Pack With Scoop for $7.98 : Rural King
They do a good job of holding the bigger stuff and you can press the tobacco in it to get even more of the extract out. I'm thinking of a Büchner funnel setup for my next tweak. After that I should be pretty good to go.

Thanks, Unloaded :)

I was beginning to think no one inhabited this section :D

I was thinking about the slow/low heat Scarf-Ace was talking about. I think it seems to be the best way to get a concentrated flavorful mix. If its low to no nic I just won't sweat it and try a 10%, just like making any other juice. Not sure by weight or volume of dry tobacco, thinking of either the syringe/cottonball and/or a filter like what you suggested. I am thinking a bit larger though, like for a coffee pot but the same strainer.

Lot of tweaking in the future :)

I will update the thread as it progresses and who knows, maybe come up with something new and cool.

I used scarf ace method . first mixed at 20 percent but cut thar down now to 10 percent ( just started )
used two pipe tobaccos , turned out really nice now I have 4 more flavors in 6 batches cooking .I will stick with that method.
also used a couple of drops of apple cider vinegar in the mix and a little French vanilla. finaly I get the flavors I like !!
the attys clog up a little faster I am using a gennisis and clean up with an acid brush ( with the hair cut shorter ,more stiff)uner the sink but will try that with alcohol.as filtering goes first through a cupple layers chese cloth in kitchen strainer , hot out the cooker that goes fast
the pour the extract in my filter system at night and in the morning its filtered.
this set up does it ...4 stages ..,all at once. one filter for each batch.
hope it helps a little
