NETs throat hit

Ive been using 100% vg net ejuice for a few weeks and notice when I start to vape there is a really harsh throat hit, then after a few puffs it goes away and is smooth as one would expect from pure vg juice. 40w on a .15 coil. What causes this harsh throat hit? Is there a way to avoid this? Happens even with fresh coils

I don't know if that has anything to do with it being an NET. I get the same thing and I vape a 40pg/60vg unflavored. If my rig sits for more than an hour, the first two or three vapes are kind of harsh, and then it behaves normally.

I always just blamed it on an over-saturated wick, and/or condensation (from inside the chamber and drip tip) settling back onto the wick. I have zero proof that is in any way true... but it is my story and I'm sticken' to it!

It makes vaping in the morning rather unpleasant, wish there was a way to avoid it

Taking a couple of "priming" puffs without inhaling helps me. Fire it like normal; but don't take it into your throat or lungs... just let your cheeks do all the work.

I also don't think it's a net thing and agree it's probably an over saturated coil, which does seem more harsh
