Yeah I know the feeling. I got someone at work into vaping and I was tired of watching him vape on a vivi nova, so I gave him one of my extra iClear 30S tanks. Now he's asking me if I have any extra coils or if I can give him some juice. Definitely annoying. Not giving anything else away. One time thing for me, lesson learned.

Give a guy 10ml of kanthal and he takes 1000mm[emoji12] I don't mind building and fixing my homies stuff. It would suck if it was in the workplace no doubt. I never vape where I eat[emoji38] I don't vape off the company pier either[emoji16] I don't vape in the company fishpond either[emoji12]

I've converted 3 people in the art department at my University. They've all gone from ego/tanks to mechs/RDAs in less than a semester, and none of them get up in my grill about fixing their gear. We just go across the street to the local vape lounge after classes are done where they can buy their own kanthal, juice, and use the in-house tools for builds.
Artists are 100% hands-on people though. It would probably be very much more like the OP if I were to try to bring people from the accounting or psychology departments.

It's a shame when goodwill gets abused. I was chatting with the neighbor's granddaughter (she's 21) a few weeks back when I found she was vaping. Offered help if she needed She was quite proud of herself at that time. She bobbled over the other day with a burning cigarette in her hand saying that her tank had cracked and she "had' to go back to cigarettes. I gave her one of my spare tanks (glass), and told her to let me know when she needs a new coil, as they're not exactly kanger-compatible. Back of my head, "why could you go buy cigarettes and not buy a new tank?" I'm sure she'll be back....

I'm all about teaching someone who's willing to learn. Just knowing her mother and her, I fear she's going to be a "gimme, gimme" type of person. (This is the girl whose mother threw her a 21st birthday party so that all the aunts and uncles made sure to get her gifts....)
