I might be in the minority here, but nicotine has a lot of potential when it comes to preventing degenerative neurological diseases, it can help some people with ADHD, and it's a pretty decent stimulant and does all of the positive things that low-level stimulants do. If someone is an adult and they want to vape, I don't feel that I have the right to stop them even if they want to vape nicotine. There's a reason why pharmaceutical grade nicotine even exists. Vape companies might use it, but it wasn't created for them. I'd feel an obligation to remind them that it's viciously addictive and I'd give them safety advice, but I don't see it as my place to dictate someone else's personal habits.
