I'm still in disbelief...

I've been vaping 2 cartos constantly for 2 weeks now. one with wowboy, the other with ry4, refilling every day.

NO LOSS IN VAPOR PRODUCTION!!!

Do these things ever die?

I've only had one die so far, and that's because I was using a thick 50/50 mix.

What's everyone elses experience with longevity on these?

I have been vaping since January 18 of this year. I have used blanks and refilled flavored cartos. So far I have had two die on me. Both were due to consistent overfilling of the cartos with a "dark" juice (i.e. Maple Tobacco from BWB). I have zero issues with lighter juices or when I am better disciplined in my filling practices.

These things are amazing.

BWB Maple Tobacco is a great way to kill a carto. Mine was nasty when I got it, but after it steeped for a month is is quite tasty, but it will destroy a carto after a couple fills.

I have cartos that are quite old. As long as they keep vaping well, I keep them in the rotation. Since February 7, I think I've thrown out no more than 5-6 cartos out of around 80.

I've been rotating 5 during the past week or so, and one of them died. I took it apart and re-secured the coil to the connector, and it's working now, too. Most of my juices have been fruity TopVaper e-liquids, and one Dekang. I pretty much try to steer clear of dark/thick e-liquids, but BWB is pretty hard to resist...

Pretty similar to yours.
I got 5 carts with my original order 60 days ago and have since bought 5 blanks.
I still have 9 in rotation. (number 10 died when my dog tried to vape...Lol)

WOW did I say 60 days....2 months for me gang...WOOHOO.....

What's everyone elses experience with longevity on these?

Congrats, shooter. :)

analog, by 'die', I mean they get to the point where they will only give off the nasty 'dishwater' taste. I do not clean cartos. They're only $2 (or less with discount), and for as many refills as they last, time spent cleaning doesn't seem practical to me (not knocking anyone who cleans cartos -- we all have our own methods). One 555 was nasty/burnt out of the package, so I figure the coil was in the filler and burning it...other than that, they are amazingly resilient without cleaning.

Was it something I said?
Yeah, I've mostly cleaned to switch juices, been roughly 2 months for me on my 20 cartos and I've washed the full set once, and half of them a second time. Washing is a bit of a pain, but it worked for me to try out some 25 juices rather than buying a full set of blanks. I'm hopefully receiving my ADV in the mail tmrw, so i think I'll take popeye's approach and keep the same couple of cartos in action continuously rather than periodically filling the lot. This way they won't all die at the same time giving me ample warning to re-order.

Gotta love a company that obviously doesn't go for planned obsolescence to keep us coming back more than necessary!

Fantastic, Shooter! Congrats!

I think I've only tossed one carto in a month, and I clean mine practically between every fill (mostly, because I'm still experimenting with lots of different juices, and haven't figured out a good way of organizing them to figure out what is in each one....although I have tried to put coffee flavors in the cartos labeled "coffee", etc....) I still clean though, because trying to figure out which coffee combo I like best, it's just easier to start with a nice clean carto.

Hopefully, at some point, I'll settle into a few favorite flavors, and refilling will be a better option. Regardless, I am blown away by the longevity of the cartos...even with lots of cleaning. (I also give a quick dry burn after cleaning, to listen and make sure it's still functional before filling up....so, they are getting plenty of "abuse"....LOL)

I think they're really in the "have an entertaining forum" business, the product is secondary, stock is tertiary. I expect in a few years you'll be coming to the "Chase Manhattan Prudential bloog forum brought to you by Pepsi" and they will have abandoned all pretenses of actually selling product, stock up now!

hmmm, so darker juice kills cartos... maybe that is my problem then?!? i will be ecstatic if my carto last more than a day, and i usually toss them when i just dont taste the juice anymore. i am mainly vaping tasty vapor's waffle, taste kinda like bloogs ry4 (wink wink) and its dark brown color.

so any of you use dark juice and still manage to keep your cartos alive for more than a day? and what exactly does it mean by overfill?

I think (but don't quote me on this) that darker color juices have some ingredient that clogs the atomizer more easily (caramel maybe?) And overfill is kinda how it sounds -- too much juice in it, which will flood the atomizer and it can't heat properly. If you take a puff and it gurgles, it's overfilled. Just blow some out and it should be fine.
