Never thought I'd say this: Thank God for the USA!

Being an Socialist, Atheist french Canadian (Isn't this music to your ears? :D), I never thought I'd ever thank God for anything... Let alone my capitalist friends from across the border. But I have to say it:

Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. Without you I would still be smoking TONS of cigarettes, slowly killing myself . Since our benevolent "We know whats good for you!" Health Canada prohibits the sales of nicotine containing e-juice "because nicotine is bad!" I would have never made the switch and would have kept on buying cancer sticks

With good people like CASAA and other organizations promoting and funding real scientific reaserch, maybe one day, Health Canada will see the truth and start to save lives in my country.

In the mean time, I'll keep on vaping quality American e-juices.

As far as I know, sales of e-liquid containing nicotine are still legal in Canada. If something has changed since the last time I looked, someone can correct me.

Health Canada prohibits two things:

1. Advertising e-cigarettes as a healthy alternative to smoking.
2. Sales of e-cigarettes containing nicotine.

Neither of which prevents the sale of e-liquid with nicotine.

In fact, if you go to the Canada sub-forum and look for the stickied thread, you can be PMed a list of Canadian business that will be happy to supply you.

If you're having good experiences ordering from the US, good for you. But be aware that customs can and do block nicotine e-liquids shipping to Canada.

I know that customs can do that but so far... I'm lucky.

But, why would they permit the sale of nic juice while at the same time block it from entering the country?

I hate irrational things.

Beats me. There is a very good vape store downtown on St Denis. Maybe you can ask there while you're sampling all their e-liquids at 18 mg/ml.

You're welcome, neighbor from the far north.

And just because I saw how quick your thread went down hill yesterday...

Try visiting Canada with any blemish on your record - ie a dwi - they wont let you into the country.

True story. If you've ever gotten a DUI any time in your WHOLE LIFE, don't even try to get a job as a flight crew member and expect to be able to lay over in Canada. Very bad things happen. (I don't have any....just heard horror stories from others.)

Glad you're off the cigs, ST. Could you maybe *try* to be a little less condescending in future posts? :)

I love visiting Canada. Hell easier to find jobs then in my place of residence at the moment. Visiting the great north come next week and will actually be speaking to a immigration person about moving up there eventually. The only thing I can see is that e-liquid issue from customs. I love my US juices ;_;

Will trade ejuice for prescription drugs :D

I am in the UK, Canada basically use the same health system. This week my disc ruptured and I needed emergency surgery on my spine as my spinal cord was compressed to 1/3 of its diameter. No bills, for the drugs or the hospital or the surgeon. I have bought an annual prescription card for $150 which covers all drugs I need prescribed by my doctor regardless of cost. I haven't used the health service much in my life before but was always happy to pay for it so others could get treatment and so it would be there for me when I was in need. It is one of Britain's proudest achievements.
