So I tried a cart/tank, it's good but too much hassle, I got some vivi nova megas, these are awesome, consistent hit, easy to fill.
Been using these for a few weeks and still not needed to change the wicks. How much easier can it be than to unscrew the top, put the juice in and screw top back on? When I think of the stupid amount of time I wasted on cartos it makes me laugh, I have a decent batt that lasts at least one and a half days, vaping is so much easier now. Hats off to whoever invented these tanks. I did think the carto/tank was good but why have the hassle when the difference is minimal.

Really? I'm absolutely shocked by this post. Are we talking tanked cartos, or just unpunched? I can't imagine tossing my ibtanked in favor of a vivi. (I saw the /tank, I'm just too shocked to believe it.) Can I ask what issues you were having? I'm more than willing to help you with your carto issues if i can!

Nothing in vaping works for everyone. There are little tricks and quirks involved with every piece of hardware out there. Which is good, because almost all of us can find something we like ;)

I wouldn't touch a clearo, but I'm sure glad they're here. I believe we need that alternative vaping device. It doesn't say anything bad about cartomisers, it's about different users having different needs.

If someone- especially a newcomer, can't figure out how to use a carto or can taste filler,

I'd rather have them have an alternative than go back to smokes.

Add the fact that you can rebuild one with your own wick and wire..............

To each his (or her) own. I own a few carto tanks, and keep them in pretty regular rotation. I like them because the flavor's good, they're low-hassle, and I've been lucky because out of the many cartomizers I've been through, I've only had one or two "duds".

You don't have to love what I love, you just have to find something that keeps you off cigarettes.

Glad to hear you've found your go-to juice attachment. I too enjoy the ease of filling a clearomizer if I'm too lasy to spend the 7 minutes to setup a cartotank. I liked the original iClear 30 tanks.

I have an Aspire Mini Vivi Nova. I've had issues with mine performing consistantly and it doesn't have the flavor production of my cartotanks. I've yet to find any clearomizer that has the flavor and consistancy of a cartotank. My :2c:

bogegate?? Was that when the polyfill inside the Cartos was contaminated by some form of machine oil from the Factories?

What happened was after the Chinese new year holday Boge restarted production, but their polyfill supplier didn't. So they used whatever they could get. Tasted like dirty sweat socks, and you could only get about 3ml of liquid through the carto before it clogged.

It's funny how many people have no use for clearos. I had the clearo epiphany myself, and have found many good clearos that I prefer to carto tanks as well. I think that off-brand junk clearos in starter kits have turned many off, but I have had pretty good luck myself. Vision Vivi Novas and Kanger T2's have been consistently great, but most copies I have used were crappy. I just rinse heads once every few fills, dry burn if needed, put the old one in a baggie and replace it every few weeks. I wish bottom coils worked well for me, but I just can't get good flavor without rebuilding.

I still keep a stock of cartos and IBtanked tanks for vaping armageddon. I have a friend who just puts 3 ohm cartos on his Provari and is happy every day, three years running. Different strokes for different folks!

Just my experience...Still haven't found any clearo (top or bottom coil) that can offer the flavor and consistency of a carto. My regular vape is a Cisco 306, but have tried many clearos from CE 2's to Protanks, iClears, etc . I revisit my carto setup from time to time when the situation calls for it and to me it's the least 'fiddly'/best performance combo for out and about for extended periods. Op. you may want to try the Z2 carto hybrid before you give up on cartos ;)
