Okay, everyone has been ranting about the Cisco LR510 and 306's attys. My limited (and possibly inaccurate) understanding of them is that they carry nicrome heating elements from the USA, which are supposed to be better.
Does the new EM's use the same material, and if so, how do they compare with the ciscos? I ordered 10 or so from the last batch from Redeyedancer at reosmods.com , and to be honest, my experience with them wasn't terribly great; I really hope this new batch is a vast improvement.

well, i dont know anything about the cisco LR 501 and or his 306 attys,
but I do know that Cisco is brilliant, and so his stuff is always great.
As to if the Em are the same , or as good or better or worse,
well, only time will tell, and those who are trying them, will know soon enough i guess.
as to the questions about what they are made with and how they are made, well,
I think only David could answer those, and i would not be telling too many of those answers,
but if you want to ask him, ----
he may answer ------- I dont know ----

I just want to say thank you for making an LR that is labeled as such. I hate LRs that have no distinctive markings. I am looking forward to my order of these new LR510s (and other goodies) and let everyone here how I find them compared to my new faves the Cisco 306 and 510.

the wire used is different, it is a heavier wire,
the wire is wound differently than all others,
and the bridge mesh is a heavier makeup,
the ohms has been aimed at 1.5 average.
does that help at all -----

and these are 99% the same as the originals.

I would get them confused easily if there was no label also, lol hahaha.
