the old ones used to last us a remarkable three to four hours heavy use as a single use device.. the life time before chucking a pair was a good month..

the newer ones seem to start of with a 2.5 hour run time and need chucking after two weeks.. the bottom line being the batteries now cost twice the price they used to..

the other possible alternative kit.. both u and me are giving them some more stick.. perhaps a bit of both.. my liquid consumption has gone up since i first started using 901 batteries.. to me it figures i am giving the poor little buggers more stick..

that aint a rip off price wise either.. allowing for all the techno wiz chippery junk in em they are remarkably cheap.. u cant blame the donkey for dieing when its being asked to do the job a cart horse should be doing..

I noticed you've done it in another thread so i don't think you have multi accounts, which is what Kate was try to convey in a polite manner ;)

I'm having a terrible time with the battery life and reliability on my 901. I just deleted a long winded explanation. The short version is 1 completely dead battery after 2 days, and one that dies within 30 drags. This stuff is 1 week old. I have not been impressed with the 901 especially after hearing many people here rave about them. I'm probably going to order a Janty Kissbox.

bastage.. people in the know are impressed by the 901.. we also know it might not last long.. we treat all these things as semi disposable devices.. with some u pay more and get the return with a nice smile merry go round.. with others u simply buy some more spares yourself and keep going..

the 901 and kissbox seem to be the poll winners.. both top examples of whichever system u choose to go with.. the pay more and get the return with a smile or pay less and buy your own spares..

u seem to have been unlucky the 90! isnt quite that bad as a norm.. u have for some reason ended up with a bad example.. it happens..
