New and completely confused

Small town texas girl! I've had my ecig for a year I purchased the ego kit from breezesmokes last year. I've been through 4 chargers and about 12+ "cartridges" ( I unscrew the tip and pour the liquid in) my batteries last 4 hours so I'm wanting a better battery and a bigger cartridge with the wick system. I need help on where to look and what to get. I want more smoke than I'm getting. I feel like I'm holding my button down forever. I use 18 mg nicotine menthol juice. I would love to find a flavor similar to Marlboro smooths. I am not up to date on all the forum lingo and I honestly have no idea what any of the parts are so if you could post pictures or links I would highly appreciate it. I apologize in advance for the inconvenience. I've been reading posts all day and feel ten times more clueless than when I got on. HELP! And thank y'all for your time and suggestions.

Hi, Welcome to ECF

It's past my bedtime and I'm headed that way but here's some info from another thread that will give you an idea of the basic stuff.
Once you see what your interested in you can probably find a kit with the stuff cheaper than buying individually.

If you do want bigger stuff, shop around, you'd probably have the best luck starting with forum suppliers (at the top of the page). Myfreedomsmokes or discountvapors seem to be good places

Here's some of the most common, basic items (batteries and tanks). I used altsmoke because you're familiar with them.

BATTERIES:
Authentic Joye eGo or eGo-T 650mAh Battery - AltSmoke this is the basic ego 650mAh battery. Small but no adjustment (650 mAh means about 6 -1/2 hours vaping)
eGo Spinner Variable Voltage Battery - AltSmoke this one has an adjustment and comes in 3 different mAh

If you like them, you can always add a second battery later.
You'd also need an ego charger and wall adapter (definitely cheaper elsewhere)

TANKS:
Vision Clearomizer - AltSmoke - AltSmoke most people on a budget start with this one. works fine but not so sturdy
eVod Clearomizer - Changeable Bottom Coil Clearomizer - AltSmoke seems to one of the most recommended. I've never tried it
http://altsmoke.com/vision-vivi-replacement-coil-tank-kit.html My favorite. I quit smoking on the 2ml one and still use it. Cheap to operate because its durable and easily cleaned. I recommend this exact one from altsmoke. There's lots of versions of it, but I know this one's good.

Here's the thread. Lots of good info and I think there was some menthol recommendations in it too

That's what I have. I bought the ego starter kit. I came with two batteries and one cartridge thing and the charger. The batteries last 4 hours a piece but my charger breaks all the time and they are getting expensive to buy every other month so I was wanting to get a battery that lasts longer for just In case I'm without my charger and a bigger tube to hold the juice because this one sucks!

Here's a good kit, where you can choose 2 batteries and 2 "toppers".
You can pick one with more "MAH" - that'll mean more vape time.
And they're variable volts - so you can "turn it up" to get the best flavor/vapor from your juice.
I like the clearomizers withOUT the long wicks - the "BCC" ones are less trouble. EVOD's are good, MiniProTanks are great.
It's a full double-setup so you can vape one while the other charges...

Here's another cool way to step up - the MVP. You can search here for more info, but it's a pretty cool unit, a very long vape time...

Kanger is a brand - they make several of the most popular juice tanks.
Evod is one of them.
He gave you a link to a kit that has a battery a lot like yours, but a better juice tank- called the EVOD.

What kind of charger do you keep breaking? Does it plug into the wall, or into a computer?

What's a kanger and evod?

Train2 I like the 2 tops two batteries but I don't want to buy another starter kit. I like my wick system because I don't have to mess with it. The top comes off and I pour the juice in and screw it back on and I'm done and then when it's "old" I throw it away... Are those tubes like that? And what's it mean by twist the battery? Do they last longer?

It plugs into the wall. The wire keeps going out. There is a box that you plug into the wall and the wire has the screw in end and a USB that connects to the charger box or you can plug it into the computer. I am seriously having the worst luck with this and we only have 2 places here that sells stuff and it's the same both places

I used to use a pair of EGO type 1300mAh batteries, which would last me most of if not all day each. But I was not satisfied until I discovered FastTech through ECF here and bought my 1st mech mod ($18 Sentinal V3 clone in all brass) and started using 18650 batteries at 2200-2900 mAh each. Easy to swap out, dirt cheap, and you really can't destroy a mech easily, so all the requirements I needed met were found in that system. Total cost of the mech, 2 batteries and charger came out to about $30 or so, but it does take a week to 10 days to get here from China if ordered from FT.

Whether in the end you upgrade to a mech mod or a VV/VW rig, something that can take an 18650 battery sounds like the best bet for you, since those will last you all day. You might also look into a tank system for better vapor and lots more juice per fill - like an Anyvape Davide or a Puritank. They take regular Protank heads, and don't have the drawbacks of the Protanks you will find here, not that I am knocking Protanks since I used Protanks exclusively for over a year, they just have some drawbacks. Davides and Puritanks can be found for less than $20 each and they are very nice. Similar and taking the same heads would be a Hypertank from Desert Vapes which runs about $12 and holds even more juice, and I have heard good things about those as well.

Hope you find a bigger battery system you like, and happy vaping. Oh, and hello from East Texas!

I started with an ecig with just nic cartridges. Did nothing for me and battery was always dead. Then went to a 900mah with a KAnger tank and Carmel ejuice. I was hooked. Now I have an ego c twist and it suits me fine. For any newbie I would say just go straight to the ego c twist with either a Kanger or a Vivi Nova

The "twist" part is that there's a ring on the bottom of the battery that you can turn, which changes the voltage of the battery. It's adjustable, like a thermostat. The reason that is nice is because turning the heat up and down will bring out different flavors in many juices, as well as changing how the vapor feels.

What you are describing (The top comes off and I pour the juice in and screw it back on) sounds like one of the top-coil clearomizers? Like the CE4 or the Iclears? These are great and simple to use. I like the bottom-coil clearomizers (BCCs) better (like the EVOD's) , but I use both. The BCCs are a tiny bit more difficult to fill (you need to take them off of the battery, and unscrew the bottom part because that's how you fill them). I think they give more flavor, though.

What he said...
You still just open and fill - but from the bottom.
And "twist" lets you "turn up" the battery a little, which can make a big difference...

Girl admit it, your a vapor and hooked on the habit... but that's OK! Your not smoking!!
If you can afford it, bite the bullet and quit buying those disposables and invest in your future.
Get yourself a Provari, a couple Vivi-Nova with replacement heads (make sure their not clones), AW IMR batteries and a XTAR VP1 charger and you will be set for a looooong time.
The money you save in the long run AND the great vape experience will change your life.
I set my daughter up with the above and she is not almost a year "smoke" free.
