Jaded here's another link for the Kanger Evod kit with more color selection and a better price

Kanger Evod Starter Kit

The Evod is a very user friendly kit good quality, and good battery life for its size. I go thru almost 2 tanks a day on mine and 1 battery lasts me almost all day.

added... the tanks fill from the bottom and the coil is what you replace as needed just over $1 or you can rebuild if you choose to. They can take 510 or ego thread toppers.

Thank you! I'll look into that system. I like the kanger topper I just don't want to have to mess with fixing it myself my daughter doesn't give me a break and if I'm messing with something she's gotta see what it is and try and grab it haha so that's why I like the wick/ disposable ones! I want a twist battery for sure but looking at all these sites they are all different so no clue which one to get. Thank you all so much for your help!!! Keep suggestions and advice coming I obviously have no clue what I'm doing haha

Here's a good kit, where you can choose 2 batteries and 2 "toppers".
You can pick one with more "MAH" - that'll mean more vape time.
And they're variable volts - so you can "turn it up" to get the best flavor/vapor from your juice.
I like the clearomizers withOUT the long wicks - the "BCC" ones are less trouble. EVOD's are good, MiniProTanks are great.
It's a full double-setup so you can vape one while the other charges...

Here's another cool way to step up - the MVP. You can search here for more info, but it's a pretty cool unit, a very long vape time...

Good solid advice from Train2. The Spinner/Twist kit is what I wish I had gotten first. MVP is solid with super long battery life. Kanger for the toppers, Train2 is spot on.

With having 2 tanks you can always keep one ready to go, and just swap like your used to :) then clean out and change the coils when you do have a couple of minutes. The coil is very easy to change. you unscrew the bottom, unscrew the coil from the base. Screw in the fresh one, top off you juice while its open, screw on the base, then back on the battery.

You should be able to use the toppers your used to as long as they are standard ego or 510 threads if you prefer.

Quick question if anyone might be able to help. Just ordered my first mod today. Got the itaste mvp v2 and wanted something glass from what I heard about tank crackage from certain types of juices, so I got a pro tank II as well. Can anyone tell me how many replacement heads/coils I should keep stocked up to last a month or so if I'm vaping fairly heavy all day? Not sure how long they last with what they come with.

Hemus, one head lasts me about a 3 weeks to a month, and I'm a pretty heavy vaper. I hear from most about a month, but know a few people that have burned some of them out in a week (I say faulty coil or to high voltage). I have had some bad coils/heads, I tend to keep about 5 extras around, Hope this helped.

Hemus, if you are gaping heavily all day the coil heads should last you a week or two. I vape heavily through out the day at work & home & the coils last me about 2 weeks. A five pack will last me 2 1/2 months. So I recommend 2 5 packs.

Damn, I feel like a girly vaper now... Well i thought i vaped alot, LOL!

I've heard and read really good things about the battery life on the MVP. $45.16 INNOKIN iTaste MVP 2600mAh Variable Voltage E-Cigarettes Set - silver / with iClear 16 atomizers at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I am currently using the 900mah battery. But what I use most during the day is the little $5 passthrough I got from Fasttech. Since I seem to be on the computer most of the day and evidently night too. $5.50 Variable Voltage USB Passthrough Battery for E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Good luck to you. Isn't it nice to have a place you can always get help? I love this forum.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned that may be confusing you about batteries. They come in a variety of mah's. That indicates how long the battery should last. It of course depends on use but it's a good way to gauge which one you may want.

What's a kanger and evod?

Hi Jaded; I'm pretty new to this stuff too, but I started a month before you, so I'm a little further along in my search for the perfect e-smoke!

EVODis a type of clearomizer, which is the top part of an e-cigarette; the tank into which the e-liquid goes, plus the tip and the atomizer. A clearomizer and a battery makes up a complete e-cigarette. (There are other types of e-cigs, such as ones built around cartridges, but all I've ever tried is clearomizers, and i'm pretty happy with them.)

One thing I've learned is that there's no 'one size fits all' with e-cigs -- what works for one person might not work well for another person, for a number of reasons. So you've basically got to try out different things until you find something you like, but clearomizers are not expensive, and some of the parts have to be replaced anyways regularly, so experimentation is not all that costly (a lot cheaper than buying tobacco cigarettes!)

My E-Cig starter kit was an eGo-CC, which gave me great taste and thick, rich vapor, but it leaks likes like hell, and I can only really use it at home, pouring in a little e-liquid every time I want to fire it up. I've tried out some other clearomizers that fit with the eGo battery that came with my starter kit -- I got an EVOD, which seems to work well for a lot of people, but I found the one I bought to be leaky, and the vapor was too thin for my taste.

Last week I got a Vision Vivi Nova Mini, and I love it. Doesn't leak a drop, and the taste is great (although if you do a search of the Vivi Nova in this forum, you'll see that some people don't like them at all). I also got another battery, so that I have a spare (it's smaller than my first battery, which means it won't hold up as long in between charges, but it's easier to carry around).

Good luck, hth!

Regards
Glenn

The RSST uses a polycarbonate plastic tank which is succeptible to volatile flavors like cinnamon & citrus flavors. Using these types of flavors will crack or melt the plastic and render the entire device inoperable. A current and growing list of these flavors can be found in the below link:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6-something-safe-cinnamon-citrus-flavors.html

I thought i might pass this post from Bad, some information about certain flavors breaking certain tanks. To be on the safe side you should use pyrex tanks.

I gave up analog cigarettes about 2 years ago..... started out with one of those cheap disposables that you get from the convenience store. It was not too good :p. My nex step was the Blu cigarette with its tiny tank and tiny battery. Big improvement but since I was a heavy smoker it didn't really last that long. From there I tried a company called Totally Wicked out of the UK. They do have brick and mortar stores here in the States but I ordered online. The setup I got was a Tornado Tank system.....two atomisers, two 650 mah batteries, a couple of 1.2 ml juice tanks, and a charger for about $60. Several of the batteries are still working 2 years later even one of the attys still works ! From there I tried a couple of cheap tanks to get longer time between fills. I like cinnamon flavor which eats plastic tanks for lunch. Along came Kangers ProTank. AWESOME!!! My next step was to improve my batteries..... I got an eGo variable voltage battery which is working great. Now I am thinking about going to a quality mod...... So many choices that my head is spinning. Lots of shiny new stuff.

Feeling the love! Thank y'all for so much information. I'm going to buy a variable voltage battery but there are so many different Types and I don't get what the " 650, 900, 1000" means and I want one that will stay charged for 6 or so hours. I like my ego twist system. I really like my wick system I don't want a filter system!!! So if I can get suggestions on good wick tanks, batteries, and menthol flavors that might help me a bit more. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed looking things up because they don't explain the systems on the websites, and I'm doing all this "research" on my phone. Y'all have been so amazing and helpful thanks for taking the time.

650, 900, etc is the mah of the battery and determines how long the battery will last. 100 mah= 1 hour of vaping before battery needs recharging. A 650 mah should give "about" 6 hrs vaping.
The Mini ProTank II is glass/ pyrex and has the wicks on the bottom of tank. Heads (coil+ wick) are cheaply and easily replaced. Make sure you buy version II as version I had issues.

if you are looking for small and dont mind spending a bit more, check out the Innokin VV V3. I personally dont have one but they have received great reveiws. I do have an ego twist and that thing is awesome. I still use it as a back up to my mechanical mod. I am not a fan of the BCC tanks. i have owned 1 kanger MT3, but apparently that is not a good comparison to other bottom coil tanks. Look into a Kanger Pro Mini. Those would look nice on anything you put it on. And the tank is glass so you can out any juice you want in it without worrying if it is going to crack.

Here is some info on the Itaste.
