Also, i noticed a lot of people prefer bottom coils vs. top coils in their cartomizers. Is the general consensus that they're easier to use, or what's the rationale for that preference?

My apologies if these aren't great questions, or this isn't the best forum for them. I'm obviously also trying to get my 5 posts done so I can spread my wings on other forums here. And being that I'm a quality over quantity type of gal, I'd prefer to try to make the most of my first 5 posts vs. posting nonsense 5 times.

Thought id chime i here. I just had a great experience with vision spinner batteries as well as a full EVOD starter kit.

Personally id recommend the EVOD kit for its reliable perfoermance, good battery, simple to change atomizers, and easy to refill. It all comes in a nice iPod-esque vanity box with all the gear you need for only 30-40 bucks. Plus it looks great because the clearo tanks were made specifically for the batt.

As for bcc or top coil, i vape exclusively bottom coils now. It just makes more sense to me. Why have 4 or 5 long pieces of string that work against gravity to suck juice to the top? It doesnt work well and u have to constantly tilt it to wet the wicks or else you WILL get burnt hits.

Bottom coils use about 1/4 inch wicks and allow gravity to do the rest. The atomizer is always soaked in juice, down to the last puff. The give a coolee, smoother vape in my opinion and allow you to take longer draws since your not sucking in boiling air.

Good Bottlm coils include EVODs, protank 1 @ 2, davide glassomizers, and many more. The atomizers on all bottom coil Kanger products like evod and protank are interchangabe between one another. The attys are super easy to change out and they last a good while if you maintain em. A 5 pack is only 7 or 8 bucks. A good many non kanger products also use the evod atomizers because they are tried and true and are quite reliable. You really cant go wrong.

If you do prefer top coils, get an iclear30b abd test it out

This gives you a Ego twist of the mah hour (higher the number =longer battery life) as well as a glass kanger protank. For similar price to your cigalike starter kit.

Tell u your hubby cigalike was import to me at first as well till my EXP with them once u tried the ego twist I couldn't care less and realized I'm trying to kick the nasty things why replicate the look or taste haha

Edit: I didn't even know things other then cigalikes existed until a vape shop moved into town

OK, I think I'll go with your suggestions and skip the Bull Smoke. My husband actually said the form was unimportant to him, and I guess we can always go "backward" to cig-alikes if need be. Thanks for all of the great advice!

Anytime my friend! Do not be afraid anytime you have a question ask away. My message box us always open or just start another thread :)

Its not a bad price. Personally I would go with a variable voltage model like the ego c twist. Different juices taste better at different voltages.. As well different Ohm heads work better at higher or lower voltages. As well the higher the mah the longer the battery life you will get.

This is a starter kit for Ego c twist and kanger protank

I would recommend a kit like that your choice of battery size all variable voltage and comes with a glass tank.

I'm less than a week in myself. I went to a local shop and got set up with an EVOD clearomizer by Kangertech with an eGo-Ctwist variable voltage battery. I love being able to adjust the flavor intensity and the amount of vapor. It also lasts me all day before I need to charge. The whole setup cost me less than the cigalikes i'I've had in the past.

Hello Ecf

Its my first post so be kind. Ive been vaping for over a year and reading these great forums for a long time. I started with a cig-a-like type of ecig and have moved on to much better devices. I do however still use that kr808. I keep a bottle or two of 18mg liquid (I usually use 12mg) for those times and places where smoking is frowned upon. Like moms house lol. Its less bulky and I will only need a toot or two and I wont need to explain the whole its not smoke thing. I have blank carts I keep for it on hand. So hang on to that crappy cig battery they do come in handy. I also agree ego is a great starting place teamed up with a pro tank and your rockin and rollin. Last thing is if you find your urges to smoke are still strong increase nic level ... you can always drop it down later.

If your worried about the complaints on that one the nautilus is the same head just a different size. So they are pretty much the same. Nautilus has bigger tank.

Nautilus is dual coil not single coil so different heads and look up reviews between the 2 only complaint on Nautilus is heads aren't available till the 10th.
If they were same heads this wouldn't be a complaint at all
