Ok first off, I bought one of the Smoking Everywhere Gold edition e-cigs in the mall. Now I have found this lovely forum and learned the error of my ways. But for the time being I want to use this one till I feel comfortable enough with it to go all e-Cig.

Now I see a lot of model names being thrown around like 901 and such but I'm curious what model/Make is mine? I know printed on the battery is 090326 and thats the only model number I have found.

Also Ive looked at Johnson Creek and Wicked Liquid for e-liquid and Im thinking I will try the paper towel replacment method for the inner resivoir material but Im looking for Ideas. Is there a huge diff in nic levels from 24 to 36? I am/ used to be a pack a day smoker, is 24 enough or should I goto Wicked and get the 36%?

Reading through these forums prior to buying your first personal vaporizer will make you crazy. I do not think the Smoking Anywhere devices are bad, just overpriced. Heck, they buy them from the same handful of manufacturers that ECF supporting suppliers buy from. To get a perspective of models and specifications, while far from comprehensive, take a look at E-Cigarette Models.

I recommend that you use the starter kit you bought the way it was presented to you. There is no reason to make the vaping experience complicated by starting to use stuff like paper towels. Wait until you find a problem or a need, then search the forum for some possible solutions.

Johnson Creek and Totally Wicked have some great smoking juices. At you current analog smoking rate, 24mg/ml or 36mg/ml would be fine. Some will argue my point, but we have no way of knowing exactly how much nicotine we are ingesting from vaping liquids. So it is not a problem to start with a high nicotine juice and trust your body to tell you when you are over doing it. High nic juices cans always be thinned out with glycerine, propylene glycol and distilled water if you find them to strong. The thinning out process actually extends the amout of useable juice you have.

I was a pack a day, Marlboro lights, and thought that would make me a medium...but it gave me headaches- it was to high, so I went to low. Pack a day doesn't mean high- maybe brand matters more?
You really have to play with it a lot, its not exact science to start with and then ad how different we are with our habits and sensitivity....
I almost got suckerd by SE...had I not found it online so easily and cheaper I would have paid their price.

I take issue with the term "suckered". It may be fair to say you overpaid, but I find it funny, when someone overpays for any item (ecig, car, meal, etc) that they feel the need to say that they got "suckered". If anyone is guilty of anything, it is usually the buyer who is guilty of not doing enough research. Lord knows I have been guilty of this on a number of occasions, but I don't feel the need to say I got "suckered".

Same thing happened to me, I felt like the worlds biggest dummy. Nothing like having buyers remorse before you even get the product. Heck, I tried to return it before it was delivered. No luck and no refunds, the bastids. I've since bought a Joye 510 and am very satisfied with it so far. Still learning the ropes, using an e-cig is a little overwhelming at first. Learning how to draw on it, filling/topping off carts, charging batteries, etc. After a week of using this thing I'm starting to feel comfortable with it now. Good luck!

All I felt was forehead slapping stupid. But you're right, caveat emptor and all that. I'm not happy with SE's no return/refund policy, I think that's a crappy business practice. But it was all preventable. One of the few times I've bought anything over $50 without doing a little basic research.

See now this is why you're in the predicament in the first place.

Someone already posted a link to get you going on FINDING this information yourself. We're not here to spoon feed you.

I did go to the link. I did look through that site. All it has is what look to be stock photos of products, none of which look like my e-cig. I probably should have stated that then re-asked the question but I did not. But thank you Wildsky for you great help....

But in all seriousness, thank you Shadowdr that one does look similar to mine. I wonder if they use the same atomizer.

The Rn-4081 does have a distinct atomizer, looks like a 22 shell with the wire mesh receeded inside instead of sticking out and the only part seen when assembled is a small gold band about a 1/16 of an inch wide.. The batteries have female threads which are also different from most models. This is a picture of the atomizer of aN Rn-4081. If it is not it, browse that site as it has good pictures of most models. I know that you want to be certain before purchasing anything else and it can be difficult finding an exact match. The parts can be difficult to find in America because so many are out of stock. I ordered colored batteries from N-Joy for mine , only to find a week later that they were out of stock and the order cancelled without any notice, on the other hand they are sending me a replacement battery for a bad one without me having to send them mine first. So the extra money I paid was worth it after all.

My what a silly little soap box it was. ;)
If you take issue with words just for the fun of it, don't read any of my post. lol
Suckered means: a person who is gullible. 2) The feeling of being taken advantage of. That's how you will feel paying 150 bucks for something that is easily 60 online!

Maybe this will make you feel less suckered.

I called the SmokingEverywhere phone number to find out where to buy one close to me. They sent me to a mall that is 20 to 30 minutes drive from where I live and I paid $150. I then continued going back to that mall again and again for like 6 weeks buying cartridges at $10 per 5 carts. I probably sent another $200 on carts.

Then I find out the mall that is only 10 minutes WALK from where I live has the same stuff but cheaper. They have a variety of products from different manufacturers and the SE GOLD that I paid $150 for is only $120 from this guy. I even laughed with the guy running the kiosk how I got ripped off at that other mall.

I then spent like another month going back there buying liquid at $25 for 5 ml. and I was thinking he was a cool guy when I was able to haggle him down to $20 after the first two bottles.

THEN, after all that I find this forum. You can imagine how stupid i was feeling. I got 'suckered' twice. You know, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

So I hope that makes you feel a little better. Whats that? It doesn't make you feel better? OK let me drop the final shameful chapter.

Despite the high price of the SE GOLD I find it to be a quality device and see no reason to get a different e-cig. Instead I have been 'experimenting' with the disposable e-cigars. I really like the look of them and figured why not give it a shot. I always wanted to smoke a big fat honkin' cigar but never did because my natural tendency to inhale. With an electronic one there is less 'negative impact' from inhaling so why not.

I thought I was smart. I thought I shopped around. I bought one from e-cigarette-usa for $30. Well AFTER I placed the order and got the cigar I stumbled across it on Janty's site for only $25. WHAT THE CRAP??? I did it again and overpaid.

But again, despite overpaying I found I had a quality device and inevitably decided to get more. Of course i got them through Janty this time for $25 each. I purchased 2 satisfied I got a good deal. After all, the guy at the mall sells them for $50 and I am getting 2 for $50.

So I have been up all night tearing up the forum and what do I come across? A thread about a place called ruyandirect that has astoundingly good prices. You know what i found there right? You know it was a better price right? $75 for 5 of them. Thats $15 each. ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME!!!!!

Well anyway, I hope this story made you feel at least a little better about what you spent. Remember, money is just a liquid asset that is going to come and go. It really is not that important that you should feel bad about it. Take solice in knowing you have an outstanding quality device.

For what it is worth, I find that dripping two drops of liquid directly on the atomizer and using a hollowed out cartridge provides a MUCH better experience than using cartridges. You can hollow out a cartridge by sticking a paper clip in the hole of the mouthpiece and it will push out the entire white plastic plug.

happy vaping,
DW

I'm of course very very new but I would like to point out one benefit people might find with the smoking everywhere brand is availablity. Its the only brand I know of here that you can just walk up to a sales representative, get some basic questions answered (be aware, they are there to make a sale) and buy your e-cig. For some people thats a big deal. I was aware of other models but not knowing how long the liquid would last or how much/what kind I would need and having no desire to go analog again if I ran out I chose to start with the smoking everywhere brand because while I prefer to order online, if I have to I can take a ten minute drive to the mall for more cartridges.

Don't feel bad if you think you over paid. Chances are you'd end up buying another e-cig eventually reagardless of what you got. People don't keep big ticket items, houses, cars, wives, (just kidding) ipods, etc. forever anymore, at least not very often. The technology is also still young and chances are good that better models are still on the horizon. You'll eventually upgrade eithier because the thing breaks, or the technology becomes outdated and you want the better model. Same thing happened to analogs. The paper used to not be cross fibered meaning they burned out quickly when you were not puffing on them, the tabacoo wasn't perserved very well and didn't keep long, and now camel introduced a cigarette that changes from light to menthol. The tech will change and you'll want a new one anyhow. Don't worry about it just enjoy your vap.

Down the rabbit hole..
hi guys! Im new to the site, Ive been on 2 or 3 days and enjoying all the info!! Everyone seems nice and helpful!! That being I bought my Smoke 51 kit at the mall on Black Friday because it was on sale!! I had never heard of ecigs before! I got the $150 kit for $99! The vendor also gave me a punch card when you buy 5 cartons of carts @ $10 you get 1 carton free! When i got it home one of the batteries wouldn't charge, I called him and he told me to bring it back but when I told him the mall was 25 miles from my house he said he would mail it. Three days later I had a new battery and he sent me a FREE USB charger for my trouble! I use my vape every day a lot and so far NO problems! I get a lot of vape from it and now Im ready to start refilling the carts!! Im looking to buy a second one just haven't decided which one yet. e-cigar RN4062 or the VK or....
Any suggestions????

lol, yes I know. But by basic questions I meant stuff like "How do I use this?" "Is it ok to eat the cigarette?" "What is your favorite color?" "What is the air speed of a fully laden European swallow?" etc.

Basically I meant if you don't know how to smoke it, or recharge the battery, or install the cartridge, they can show you. But more importantly, its right there to buy. Some people prefer that.

Hi everyone :)

I too am new but have adapted completely. I LOVE vaping! I stopped analogs the day I got my first NJOY NCIG and haven't had one since (and don't miss it a bit, was 2 pack a day for 26 years). I just received 2 DSE801s from Eastmall and they are working very well.

But talking about extra money, I paid 19.95 for 5 carts the first few times until I found this forum.

I also bought a Smoke 51 that I have no use for (I really prefer the pen styles) so I will just stick it in a drawer and forget I have it. Paid 149 for the Smoke 51 and 19.95 for 5 menthol cartridges (I don't even like menthol, was wondering why they were green LOL).

Oh well, live and learn.

Randy
