Got my 510 Ohm meter, also a Craftsman DMM, and a Nemesis clone. I had my friend build the Stillare clone to .7 ohms, so now I need to learn how to do this myself so I can get down in the .4 - .6 range. I'm stoked. Thanks for all your help and suggestions. I'll try to figure out how to post a pic so you guys can see I'm not just a tourist or BS'ing you. I've got it all organized and ready to go in Vapelogic's Vapestation, and vape Caddies 1 & 2. The wife doesn't smoke or vape , but liked some of my flavors so she is getting 0 mg nic juice and vaping with me. Good times. I'll post more when I start my own build. I still need to order some wire and wicking material. The buddy of mine used Kanthal A1 28 gauge drill twisted dual coil with Japanese cotton when he redid my Stillare, but does anyone else have any other materials they'd recommend for my next lower Ohm build? I'd like something that doesn't take so long to heat up, but I don't want to push my battery by going below .4 ohms. Per the Utahvaper's chart my Sony 18650vtc3 should be safe down to that resistance. Any thoughts?

I really like Rayon (Cellucotton). I can't really compare it to the Japanese cotton b/c I never tried anything else after I discovered Rayon. You can get a lifetime supply at Sally's Beauty Supply for $15 or look for the Rayon thread on ECF. Someone is always giving some away.

As for wire, I would recommend getting at least 5 feet of Kanthal in 32, 30, 28, 26, and 24 Gage. I built a few higher ohm builds in my Kayfun that had to much lag due to coil length when I used 27 gage. I also built a 0.6 ohm for my plume veil clone using the same 27 gage. It was getting hot to fast and causing some wicking problems resulting in dry hits. Once you get comfortable with coils in general you may venture into ribbon, platinum wire, etc. I'm not there yet.
