Hi
Got my RN4081 about 3 months ago, i was quite a light smoker so i only get through about 5ml/month vaping. Likewise the supplied atty has worked for 3 months, and still going!
Anyway, i thought i'd freshen it up and put a new atty in. Except with the new one, all the airflow comes through the two side holes, and, by the laws of air following the path of least resistance, there's not enough draw through the battery to activate it. Any ideas? Or do i just have to wait until the side holes get gunged up a bit?

Or your atty is flooded and no air is coming in from the auto batt hole.

Try blowing it out a bit and letting sit mouth side down over night.

May also be a bad auto batt membrane switch that's got juice in it and is now sticky so not moving to on position as easily. You can test that by just drawing on the batt but don't touch lips/togue to the contacts :)
