Son, thats exactly what is happening. Can you please tell me if this happens on 6 volts or 3,7 volts? Also be sure that if CT is full you will not be able to vape nice. If you overflood the CT by mistake then it is too dificult to come back to your previous stage by simple vaping. You need to put off the liquid from the tank by blowing via the 4 holes and the liquid will come out from the mouthpiece. But if you want to avoid overflooding you have to be careful when you open the liquid control. Its like you open a fount. Dont overdoing it.

I only vape at 6 volts. And I intend to use standard 510 atomizers if its the last thing I do. As to the flooding, I don't seem to be able to stop it, no matter how slow I open the liquid. I'm not filling the tank all of the way. And as I said, I only open the liquid 1/8 turn at a time. try it there and then another i/8. Also notice that the control tank filled itself over night.
I do thank you for your help

I have left my UFS full of liquid to rest for 4 days because I vape all day and testing my new atty. After reading your post I desided to vape UFS again. It vapes better than 4 days ago lol. Ok, I had said that better to close the liquid control if you intend to leave UFS for a long time or overnight. Hifistud mention the same even if he hadnt overflooding issues. So your problem is because some atomizers leak too much. But we have the solution to this issue too. Close the liquid control and you will be ok Son.:)

I really wish you are right. I just closed air and liquid and blew hard on mouthpiece. Actually moved enouth liquid up into main tank to allow me to vape from the control tank. But it won't last, I don't think. This is the point I was at yesterday. I may be able to vape from the CT for a couple of hours. Then I'll have to do something. Yesterday after opening liquid 1/8 turn @ a time untill the liquid was nearly open it worked great. Not sure what this all means besides closing everything off when not it use. Also should I close everything off every few hours and blow liquid out of CT or just vape out of CT again. Problem is every change seems to lead me to somewhere I don't want to be. ???????????

Son, 1 min, you didnt do as I said. Ok, lets do it again. You totally close ONLY liquid and leave air totally open. Blow via 4 holes and the liquid that is inside CT will come out through mouthpiece. That way you unbloct atomizer and CT. Now you can vape normal.

You will close the liquid and the air only on pockets and overnight, thats it.

Please don’t take that the wrong way. I’ve blown through those holes two dozen times. So I keep experimenting on different ways. Anyway, that’s not really my problem. My problem is why does it keep getting flooded in the first place. On a real good day I can barely feed the atty. Yet, all I have to do is turn around twice and the whole thing is flooded. There has to be something I’ve totally missed.
I’m trying to vape out of the CT now. But fairly quickly I’m out of juice. I crack the liquid ring just a little and pretty soon it starts gurgling. So I close the ring. Back and forth.
I really love this device and I’m determined to make it work as it should.
Didn’t mean to make you mad. Just looking for answers.

Thanks again

I had a similar issue with flooding one day, but it was my own fault. While opening and closing the juice control so many times I actually slightly unscrewed the top most section of the UFS ever so slightly from the acrylic window which totally threw off the pressure in the tank. I would recomend you make sure all of your components (especially the tank peices) are properly tightened. Opening and closing the juice control can inadvertantly unscrew one of those peices.

I had this same problem untill today. What i found is when you keep getting the burnt taste you are cooking the liquid. what this does is it makes a real thick liquid in the atty which clogs the atty. so i took the atty out and gave it a good cleaning and blew it out with canned air reinstalled and now it works fine. I have been fighting this from about the 3rd day and thought i was doing somthing wrong so i watched all the vids again and found that i was doing it all right. So i guess this is part of the learning curve. lol Hope this helps. I have only had my ggts for a week so still learning. Really love the GG.

refilling:

1. clean your atty by blowing air
2. close air, open liquid
3. open glass
4. put atty, tight it hard
5. close glass
6. close liquid
7. take off the mouthpiece
8. open refilling cap
9. refill
10. close refilling cap
11. put mouthpiece, screw it hard so o-ring will go in place and then unscrew the mouthpiece and screw it again but not hard, just stop when you feel the first resistance.
12. open air
13. vape
14. when you see that taste is going to change open liquid by 1/2 turn
15. continoue vape and see if you need any adjustment of liquid. Dont wait to have overflooding or burn taste first. When you see that something is starting to change make the nessesary adjustments.
