Hi N8, You are correct. Dripping works like this.... Drip a few(3-5) drops onto atomizer bridge. vape that until it starts to get dry(3-10 draws) depending on what voltage and length of draw. Drip to re-wet atomizer(again 3-5 drops) repeat vaping....... Thats it. Nothing too complicated. Some of us are dedicated drippers, some of us not so much. Once you get it right, on a good atomizer, it should be hard to beat with just about any other method. Enjoy your new equipment.

underneath the bridge is the coil. The coil sits in a cup that can hold some liquid. Also the cup is surrounded by some kind of absorbent material that soaks up the liquid also.

Secondly inside the coil is typically a wick that should be able to extract the extra liquid from the absorbent material and gets it to the heating coil to be vaporized.

If you are going to be dripping you will want to purchase a bridgeless atty in the future. The bridge is just obstructing things when dripping. With a bridgeless atty you will see what I am describing here.

Typically when you buy attys you do not get drip tips, so that's more than likely why you did not get one with the atty. Since you have a provari I am assuming it is a 510 atty, and I personally like the Ming drip tips from Cherry Vape myself. Although any 510 drip tip should fit from any vendor.

but there is nothing to soak up the liquid. all thats there is the coil bridge. ugh lol

Yup just like greener85 said, there is some kind of wicking material that the coil sits on or is rapped around. On a fresh atomizer I usually have to drip around 5-6 drops, after that its pretty much 3 drops every time you need to drip. but yea drip onto that mesh bridge and the juice will find its way to the coil
