New batt not working well

Ok...I've tried the lighting the center thing, cleaning, even turning the cartomizer center thing up a little. It lights and draws for a min but then stops again unless I pull in air pretty hard. Any other ideas? Had the battery about a week now, only recharged once. Thx guys! Btw...sorry for the lack of correct terms...it's late, I'm tired, and I can't remember my new learned lingo.

Just wondering...... do the cartomizers screw all the way down? Could there be a thread problem? I think it was Snowdragon who posted something about using very fine sandpaper on the threads and twisting the battery to help make better contact. However, I would contact customer service before doing anything like that.

I have 7 batteries. Use my pts at work and home mostly. Don't use the reg ones very often. And yes. The carts screw all the way down. That's why it's so confusing to me.

If it is a manual Batt. Then something is prob wrong in the cut off. I would start a support ticket they will take care of it promptly.

Because it's a manual I don't think it is a thread issues (sanding) and Brandi has lifted the post. The batt is only a week old so there's really no way that it could gunked up enough to be an issue. Even if a battery is gunked up all that really happens is that it become harder to draw since air intake hole which go into the ring around the center post get closed off.

Brandi I would do this.....put it on the recharger...when it's charged take a fresh carto and see it works. If it doesn't don't give it a second thought...contact Customer Service on Monday and they'll will take care of it.

Let me just say, I'm extremely impressed at your attempts....bravo!

Going to try that snow. I'll contact cs Monday morning if it doesn't work. I guess everyone is bound to get a dud every once in a while. This company rocks! When I was using premium, my first three batteries went bad. Even the replacements only lasted a week or two. I'm much more impressed with v4l products!

Wow!! Reading back over my post, I must have been REAL tired or I actually had too much beer.  I said it was a manual when it's an automatic. Truly sorry for this incorrect information. I am embarrassed.

Haha. Now that's funny!!!! Tmi...but we are trying to have a baby and have not had great luck. I gave up all alcohol and that's why I switched to electronic cigs. The patch and gums, just didn't cut it. I tested negative AGAIN and decided a beer wouldn't hurt. I think the three I had hit me pretty hard due to the fact I hadn't drank in about 6 months. Lol. Oh...and I'm down to 4mg nic when I feel stressed and 0 the rest of the day!! ;-)

Im not too happy with my two xl's so far .One doesnt last as long as the other and that is the replacement.Both have purple leds .The one that doesnt give me trouble had a blue light ,so maybe those other two were a bad batch that slipped thru qc? Now ,my better one has a temperamental button .My one shortie seems ok .I am afraid to order more xl's ( both now passed the 30 days )
