new booster for ego cigs

just ordered a ego t model passthrough. going to try it out and see the differences.
read all the threads on the ego booster.
just one question though, why wouldnt you purchase the variable ego model instead of putting
a booster on your previous ones?
the booster is 50.00 to order and the new batterys are around 30.00 to order. and the new
batteries are adjustable by clicking the lighted knob.
just wondering thats all.

For me personally, I prefer the dial on the Booster over the button select of only 3 different voltages on the vv ego batts. Plus, I already have several ego batts and I can use the booster on all of them rather than just buying 1 vv batt.

Others may have different preferences.

yes, that does make sense if u have a lot of batterys you can use it on.

ctourtelot hit the biggest 2. Adjustable dial is better than "hope you like it", and nice if you have ego batts already. Plus after about 4 batteries, the higher cost of the VV Egos will break even with the Booster + lower-cost standard ego batts. And resale value of the booster will be good - there's nothing to wear out. Not so much on used batteries.

If you got the USB passthrough without the battery, temper your expectations. I had one and it was very cheap. Plus, you'll probably need a 2A wall-outlet as most computer USB ports won't pump out enough juice to come close to the higher voltage targets.

Moreover, the Booster will give you a higher voltage throughout the batteries use as documented in the chart in this LINK.
