I was reading in another thread where a person had two juices that they mixed together and liked it. He then wanted to calculate the percentages of the ingredients so that he could create a new recipe. I thought that this would be a nice feature to add.
I posted V2.1.0.39 which includes a new option in the tools menu, Merge two recipes. It allows you to select two existing recipes and specify the amount in mls or grams of each recipe. You then specify a new recipe name and based on the amounts of each recipe, it will create a new recipe entry.
I'm feeling somewhat mathematical challenged at the moment... Density of Nicotine is 1.01 @ 1000 mg and density of PG is 1.036... so if I have a base of 100 mg @ 100% PG would I input 1.0334 as my Nicotine density within the program?Question. Does the program adjust the density of the Nicotine Base in relation to the amount of the PG/VG?
Would it be possible to add a Search & Replace ingredient to the Calc, or the File Maintenance progie? Would help a lot trying to clean up the recipe database for poorly/duplicate named ingredients Such as "TPA Strawberry" "Strawberry (TPA)", or "Nicotine" "Nicotine (2)". The way it is my database is full of duplicate names using different naming conventions, it makes the ingredients list unnecessarily long, and way to many to manually change.
When you add your ingredients to the program you specify the ratio of PG/VG and you also specify the weight. The program does not calculate the weights of the individual ingredients. The only time the program will automatically calculate the weight is when you are using the tools, such as "Dilute Nicotine". When diluting, the program will consider the weight you specified for the PG, VG and the nicotine base and calculate the weight of the newly diluted nicotine based on the amount of each ingredient being added.I'm feeling somewhat mathematical challenged at the moment... EDIT: Or does the program fine tune this base amount based on the PG/VG in the Nicotine base.
I posted version 2.1.0.40. It adds the ability to find and replace ingredients. Click on the "Edit" menu item and select "Find and replace ingredients".Would it be possible to add a Search & Replace ingredient to the Calc, or the File Maintenance progie? Doesn't anyone understand my thought of train; even if it seems off the track?
If I have 1000 mg strength of Nicotine the density would be 1.009... now get the stuff cut and wouldn't the Nicotine density be modified by the PG/MG in the mix?

to fine line.. if I entry the density of 1.009 as Nicotine. I'm in error, as with anyone else using this program.
I enter the correct PG and VG density's... why doesn't the program figure the correct density of my Nicotine for me?
