E-cigarettes are NOT a gateway and they DO help people quit

See my comment below that. mainly...

"IF the CDC itself, starts to report this as the article did - then that would be a paradigm shift, and may signal a change in view toward THR. The fact that they are now saying 20% (I believe it's higher still) of ex-smokers have quit smoking with ecigs (used to be in the single digits or rejected out of hand), is something."

I do like to think that fact and science will eventually win over ignorance and bigotry.

While, at times, formidable, ignorance and bigotry can't hold a candle to 'political agenda' - that's where science loses and has lost big time. I'll just cite 'second-hand smoke' to keep on topic, but could list many more where science has taken a back seat to politics. Ecigs may just add to that list, although like you, I hope not :- )
