Here is my newly wound coil with cotton wick. .7 ohm 28ga wire on a reomizer 2. Be brutally honest how does it look? I'm still learning.

It looks just spiffy, Travis (btw is that a black wrinkle I see it mounted on?). Better than the first one I made...

1.8 ohms with 32 awg. Yikes!

Thanks! Yes it's a black wrinkle with blue metallic door. Waiting for the new round of Woodville ' s to b ready. I think I'm ready for a second reo.

What size form did you make the coil upon?
Perhaps move the coil a bit closer to the edge/ air hole.
Have you played with raising and lowering the coil?
I like my coil a few mm off the ceramic and as close to the edge as possible.

I have experimented with raising it higher up but haven't tried moving closer to the air hole yet. What does it do moving it closer to the air hole? Better flavor? More vapor?

Yes, most assuredly. Get it as close to the airhole as you can without touching (duh!). I like mine smack dab in the middle of the air hole.

I mark the air hole location with a sharpie and use that as a guide when positiioning my coil. Makes a big difference.

Thanks I'll give it a try. I tell you once I got my reo everything else started collecting dust! My pro various is just a 200$ ohm meter now. I don't even think about analogs now!
