After reading the first page of the stickies, I have a couple of questions before I start mixing. First, why are the LA flavors not recommended? Second, will my bulk pg, vg, nicotine and flavorings go stale/bad after opening? And if so, how long? Sorry if I missed this elsewhere, but with this wealth of info, I was feeling a little lost. Thanks

For the PG, VG, and nic, if you close the bottles after using and store in a cool, dark place, they will last more than a year without going bad. The nic can lose its potency over time, so if you are not going to use it up in a few months, you may want to put some of it in the freezer. Regarding the flavorings, most of those will last along time too, but I'm sure there are a few out there that don't keep as well as the rest.

Here is a link to a very good price for nic if you are interested. I freeze mine in amber glass bottles and I feel better knowing I have some because I am not sure what the FDA is going to do to sales of nic. https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/nicotine-base-flavorings/nicotine-solutions.html

My PG and VG, I buy in the gallon from Essential Depot. Very pleased with the products and their fast shipping.

As far as flavorings, I only use vaping Zones Gourmet and Super Concentrated flavors. I use them because you use less in a recipe and I find it more economical. I have also been very pleased with all the flavors I have tried.

I started out doing everything right with mixing but I have become a mixing sloth. I just add flavor to my unflavored nic juice. It works for me and I have only bought juice 2 times in the last 9 months. Good luck to you and happy mixing. That is what it is all about........having fun. :)

You have great answers on the storage/keep time, but as for the LA flavors - many are oils or contain food coloring. The oils are not something that should be vaped and the coloring is unnecessary extra stuff that many choose to avoid whenever possible as there is no reason to inhale coloring.

The following are all Oils from LA:
Anise
Bergamot
Black Pepper (20% in base of coconut oil)
Caraway
Chamomile, Roman
Clove (Clove Leaf)
Eucalyptus
Ginger
Grapefruit
Juniper Berry
Lavender
Lemon
Lemongrass
Lime
Marjoram
Nutmeg
Orange
Oregano (Origanum)
Peppermint
Rosemary
Spearmint
Tangerine
Thyme
Wintergreen

I will add, IMO , LA are not really good quality flavors either. As we all know opinions are like....

Hope this helps you some!

hit the nail on the head , freezing your nic when buying in bulk and essental depot for pg/vg needs and the 3rd knock out punch super concentrates when all 3 are combined your cost per 30ml bottle of juice can be as low as $1.50 +or- depending on your level of nic
