as far as a nova, you really need a bigger vv device if you want to avoid the thing blowing up in your face and so that you don't have to use an adapter

Now while I will agree with you need something bigger than a cig look alike for a vivi nova, you DO NOT need vv for it.

For a cost comparison, I mix my own juice and rebuild my vivi nova. I vape about 5ml/day.

I estimate that I spend a little less than $1 per week.

So you vape 35ml a week and spend $1 on it? You must have found the holy grail of juice then. How do you do that?
I DIY, but only doing it for 0.1026E/ml (thats Euro), so your average consuption would cost me about E3.08 per week.

I can refill mine it's just that I've been to lazy to do so. But now that I know the money I can save I just might do it. I literally have hundreds if not a thousand old cartridges. (won't refill them with out boiling them or if at all do to sanitary reasons) but I have lots if cartridge I can refill. What's a affordable place to order liquid? I prefer the taste to be close to a cigarette a little sweeter maybe.

I was ballparking. A 30ml bottle lasts me a week, so by my math: (all from Wizard labs)

60mg nic juice- 9ml comes to $.76

7.5ml of PG- 14 cents

10.5ml VG- 20 cents

Flavoring @ 10%- 55 cents

So, $1.75 for juice. (could be less if I went with higher nic base or ordered larger quantities)

Wick, I got a skien of cotton yarn for $1.99- enough to do thousands of wicks. Figure a penny each.

Wire, I got 50 feet for $13 (I have found places that are about 1/2 that since)

4" per coil comes to 8 cents.

So, $1.84 per week. (1.43E)
